Honkai Star Rail Version 1.1 may still be a way off, but there’s already plenty to know about the next big content drop. From its release date to new banners, characters, and more, we’ve got you covered with the full rundown.

Honkai Star Rail has just come out and to massive success. HoYoverse’s latest gacha offering, and the successor to the ever-popular Genshin Impact, sees them dabbling with whole new gameplay mechanics, surprisingly complex stories, and new characters.

And with its new release, starting with Version 1.1, fans are already raring to see what HoYoverse will bring in its first major update. Here is everything that you need to know regarding Honkai Star Rail Version 1.1.

Honkai Star Rail Version 1.1: Release date

The release date of Version 1.1 is June 7, 2023. The first half of the update will run from the start date to June 26, 2023, and the second half will run from June 28, 2023, to July 18, 2023.

As always there will be two banners featuring two separate 5-star characters in the first half and second half of version 1.1 respectively.

Honkai Star Rail Version 1.1 Special Program

On May 22, 2023, HoYoverse announced the ‘Galactic Roaming’ Honkai Star Rail 1.1 Special Program via the Honkai Star Rail Twitter account.

The livestream was supposed to take place on May 26, 2023 at 19:30 (UTC +8). However, HoYoverse conducted only the Chinese livestream on the aforementioned date. The English livestream wae delayed to May 27, 2023, at 11:30 (UTC+8).

As it happens, the English livestream has also been officially conducted and all the information regarding version 1.1 is now readily available.

Honkai Star Rail Version 1.1: Banner Schedule

Just like Version 1.0, there will be two phases to the banners. The banners scheduled for Honkai’s very first major update have been confirmed, with their skill sets also locked in.

Honkai Star Rail version 1.1 will feature 2 new 5-star units and one new 4-star unit. The 5-stars will be Silver Wolf and Luocha, while the new 4-star will be Yukong. The new 4-star will make her appearance in Luocha’s banner in the second half.

Phase One (June 7-June 28)

Lastly, during the official livestream for Version 1.1, it was announced that players will be able to obtain a copy of Yukong for free in Version 1.2.

Honkai Star Rail Version 1.1 Events

There will be quite a few events during Honkai Star Rail version 1.1. The first of them is a 7-Day Log-in event where you will be able to collect 10 free Star Rail Special Pass.

The featured event in Honkai Star Rail Version 1.1 will be surrounding Silver Wolf called Starhunt Game which will grant you a lot of rewards including a free 4-star Nihility Light Cone.

The second major event that is going to take place during Version 1.1 is Everwinter City Museum Ledger of Curiosities. In this event, the Trailblazer needs to help Pela to track down the lost exhibits from the Belebog museum. The museum will remain as a mode even after the event is over.

The third major event for Honkai Star Rail Version 1.1 will be Stellar Flare. In this event there will different stages with challenges. You need to take advantage of the buffs provided in those challenges to complete them is the least number of turns as possible.

The fourth major event for Honkai Star Rail Version 1.1 is Lab Assistants in Position. In this event, the Trailblazer needs to collect monster materials and submit them in return for lucrative rewards.

The final event for Version 1.1 will be called Garden of Plenty. In this event, you will receive additional rewards for completing Golden and Crimsom Calyx.

Honkai Star Rail Version 1.1: Quests

Honkai Star Rail version 1.1 will revolve mostly around Silver Wolf. Hence, the big event featuring the free Light Cone is also related to Silver Wolf.

Apart from that, there will be companion quests for Siver Wolf, Luocha, Yanqing, and Bailu.

Honkai Star Rail Version 1.1 QoL changes

In Version 1.1, HoYoverse is making farming a lot easier for players. In the upcoming update, if you ever need to farm for ascension materials for your characters and if that material is dropped by a particular type of enemy, then you will be instantly teleport to the area where the same can be found.

The exact location of the enemy will also be marked on the map with pin-point accuracy. Upon defeating the enemy, the marker will now point to the location of the next enemy.

Lastly, Honkai Star Rail Version 1.1 is going to introduce friend chat function in the game for the first time.
