Call of Duty: Warzone’s XM4 is an incredibly versatile Assault Rifle that decimates enemies in Season 5 Reloaded, especially when it’s equipped with these meta attachments.

The XM4 is a deadly Assault Rifle that boasts excellent precision and deals decent range damage, making it a solid pick in Warzone. Previously known as the Commando, this reliable Rifle is certainly a strong pick in the current Warzone Season 5 Reloaded meta.

Its gunplay is very similar to that of the M4A1 thanks to its great accuracy, fire rate, and damage. Whether you’re after an old-school AR in Season 5 Reloaded that you can rely on or just tired of using close-range SMGs, then the XM4 is one gun that you’ll want to add to your arsenal.

The XM4 is a great pick if you’re a fan of the M4A1.

We kick off the best Warzone XM4 loadout by boosting the gun’s effective damage range and accuracy, while also greatly improving its handling when going full-auto.

Due to the gun’s lower damage range, compared to other ARs, the XM4 is best used in close to mid-range firefights. To help with this, we’ve attached the Axial Arms 3x optic – although these selections are always subjective depending on the user.

This optic will give you just enough magnification to land those ranged headshots, but it will also keep you on target in closer engagements. Next, we’ve utilized the 13.5” Task Force barrel so the XM4 can deal a lethal amount of damage at close range. The increased damage, range, and bullet velocity will help bump up your DPS (damage-per-second) in those situations where you need to hit an enemy at a distance as well.

To further increase this AR’s mobility and effective damage range, we added the Agency Suppressor. Not only does this noise-canceling muzzle increase the XM4’s bullet velocity, but it also increases the gun’s ADS speed and damage range. Combine this with the Field Agent Grip for better recoil control, and you have a recipe for success.

Rounding things off at the bottom of the list is the STANAG 60 Rnd attachment. This magazine will give you all the ammunition needed to melt multiple foes, especially at long range, where it’s essential that you don’t run out of ammo.

Amped allows you to switch between weapons faster, making it particularly useful if you do run out of bullets mid-fight.

Lastly, Overkill allows you to equip the Armaguerra 43 as your secondary weapon to back you up if you run out of bullets in the XM4, or an opponent gets in your face, requiring a fast-firing SMG to destroy them in no time at all.

To round off this XM4 loadout, we’ve decided to use the Semtex and Heartbeat Sensor in the lethal and tactical slots. The Semtex is arguably the best lethal in Warzone due to its efficiency in not only damaging enemies but also finishing off downed enemies quickly.

Similarly, the Heartbeat Sensor gives you the ability to track down non-Ghosted enemies and flush out those pesky campers. Despite being nerfed when Warzone Pacific launched, the Heartbeat Sensor is still very effective and delivers priceless information.

The XM4 is an incredibly versatile AR.

All you need to do is reach Player Level 4 in either Black Ops Cold War or Warzone, and the gun will be available to customize and rank up.

Alternative to the XM4 loadout

If you’re looking for an alternative to the XM4, then consider using either the Cooper Carbine or Grau. 5.56 two perfectly viable Assault Rifles that can still tear up lobbies.

Both have had a resurgence thanks to Warzone Season 5 Reloaded and their respective loadouts could improve your gameplay in the game.
