Genshin Impact‘s upcoming 4.5 update is set to be released in March 2024 and will feature some exciting new banners. Here’s everything we know so far about the next update for the beloved HoYoverse title.

Genshin Impact version 4.5 is set to introduce a brand new character called Chiori in the game. She is a 5-star Geo unit who will likely function as a sub-DPS and support characters like Arataki Itto and Navia. Additionally, a brand new event wish is set to be added to the game as well.

Genshin Impact version 4.5 is set for release on March 13, 2024, across the world.

Chiori will be a brand new unit added to Genshin Impact version 4.5

Genshin Impact 4.5 will feature the brand new character Chiori and a couple of rerun units. The banners along with their phases have been listed below;

Phase 1

Chiori (5-star, Geo, Sword)
Arataki Itto (5-star, Geo, Claymore)

Phase 2

Neuvillette (5-star, Hydro, Catalyst)
Kazuha (5-star, Anemo, Sword)

The 4-star units that will feature in the banners are still unknown and will be updated at a later date.

Genshin Impact 4.5 update new Event Wish

Genshin Impact version 4.5 new banner revealed

Genshin Impact 4.5 update will feature a third banner and a new wish. This will be called Chronicled Wish and will cycle every patch. This banner will only feature 5-star units and there will be fate points of at most one. This means the first 5-star will probably be 50-50 and the second 5-star will be guaranteed. You can choose either 5-star characters or weapons.

Additionally, if you lost 50-50 for the first time, the unit you get will match the type you selected. In other words, if you selected a character, you will not get a weapon, and vice versa. The characters present in this banner need to have had at least three event wish banners until now and should not have been featured in any recent banners.

Genshin Impact 4.5 will feature a brand new Mondstadt based event

Genshin Impact 4.5 update will feature a variety of events in the game. A list of all the events have been discussed below:

Alchemical Ascension: The Knights of Favonius in Mondstadt are coming up with plans to promote their achievements in Alchemy. Participate in this event to receive Primogems, Mora, and Dialogue of the Desert Sages Polearm. This is the featured event of the patch update.
Feline Fortress Furrdyssey: Paimon wants to have some fun playing with cats and players have to travel to Cat’s Tail for this.
Rolling Crossfire: The Genius Inventor of the Gardes has come up with a brand new weapon and players have been invited to test it.
The Great Fayz Reaction Debate: Jami, the Amurta Researcher has come up with efficient enhancement measures of the Fayz potion and he needs the Traveler for verification.
