Want to witness the Titan Hand and Earthquake live event in Fortnite? Here’s where you can watch the in-game event leading to the upcoming Chapter 5 Season 2.

Players will be ushered into the next season of Fortnite, which is said to have a Greek mythology theme, after Chapter 5 Season 1 concludes on March 8, 2024. Epic has unveiled a new Odyssey questline that builds up the lore leading up to Chapter 5 Season 2 in anticipation of the upcoming Fortnite season.

Even while players are already feeling tremors all across the current Fortnite map, several rumors circulating online have them even more pumped up. Cracks are also appearing as a result of these earthquakes near the Ruined Reels POI, where players must speak with the Odyssey NPC to finish the Mosaic Snapshot challenges.

More rumors point to an upcoming event in the game where players can experience earthquakes, see cracks in the ground, encounter a titan-sized hand with a chained chest, and see a blazing tornado with ghost hands.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 Earthquake and The Hand live event: start dates and times

According to numerous leaks on X, the tremors will occur on top of every hour on the current Fortnite island until 45 Earthquakes/Shakes have occurred. It is rumored that on the 46th tremor, The Hand will emerge from the crack and will continue to grow until it reveals the chained chest and opens it to unleash the fiery tornado.

The Titan Hand is also rumored to unleash a fiery tornado in the sky during the Fortnite event.

As mentioned earlier, the tremors and the cracks with lava visible from it are now live near the Ruined Reels POI where the final crack will generate a sonic pulse and unleash the Titan Hand from within.

To attend the live event, all you’ll need to do is just load into a Battle Royale and Zero Build lobby at the top of every hour and head to the above location to witness it in-game.

Once The Hand emerges you’ll be required to shoot down its chains with the rest of the players in the lobby. As soon as the enormous health bar of the chains goes low, the box will be dropped and unleash a fiery tornado where you’ll see ghost hands appear within.

And, sure enough, the chains have been broken. A tornado is ravaging that part of the Fortnite map, and it’s likely that it won’t stop until Chapter 5 Season 2 gets officially underway on March 8.
