Pokemon Scarlet & Violet features version exclusive Pokemon, like Generation 4’s Stunky and Skuntank which are exclusive to Scarlet version. Here’s how to find them around Paldea.

Like the previous Generations before it, Pokemon Scarlet & Violet feature version exclusive monsters for trainers to find and catch depending on the game they’re playing.

Pokemon Scarlet version’s base game has 25 exclusive Pokemon, ranging from regular monsters to Paradox Pokemon.

Among those 25 Pokemon are Gen 4’s Poison/Dark-types, Stunky and Skuntank. Here’s how Pokemon Scarlet players can find these two skunk Pokemon as well as how to evolve Stunky.

Where to find Stunky in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

According to Stunky’s Pokedex entry, it’s found in various places across the Paldea region.

Trainers can find Stunky in the following locations:

  • South Province (Area Three)
  • South Province (Area Five)
  • West Province (Area Two)

Where to find Skuntank in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

Unlike Stunky, its evolution Skuntank is only found in one area around Paldea. According to the Pokedex, Skuntank is found on dry land around Casseroya Lake in the northwest of the region.

How to evolve Stunky into Skuntank in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

Those trainers who’ve played Gen 4 will be familiar with how Stunk evolves in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. To evolve Stunky into Skuntank, simply raise it to level 34.

Those playing Violet version can obtain Stunky by playing through the Union Circle with a trainer who owns Scarlet version. Additionally, you can also receive Stunky and Skuntank through trading.
