Chapter 5 Season 1 of Fortnite has been a big undertaking for Epic Games, especially in the battle royale, with new weapons, a mod system, map changes, and much more.

As part of the 28.10 update, the offering has expanded even more, with Solid Snake finally available in-game via questline. Snake also brings a ton of goodies, most notably, the infamous Cardboard Box that’s helped him get out of plenty of tough situations.

Where to find the Cardboard Box

Good news — finding the Cardboard Box in-game is way easier than it may seem. Cardboard Boxes can be found via ground loot, Chests, or for sale from Snake in exchange for 100 Bars. Snake can also be hired for 250 bars, in case you want to bolster your squad.

How to hide in a Cardboard Box

The Cardboard Box is an equipable item. To use it:

First, equip it and then throw it on the ground.
Press the corresponding button prompt to jump into the box.
- You’re now in the Cardboard Box and will be able to trot around without raising any attention.

Keep in mind that when you’re exiting the box, your character will jump out, which can lead to some unfortunate situations if you’re not prepared.
