Noelle surprised in Genshin Impact

Noelle can become a powerful asset to anyone’s Genshin Impact team, especially if you obtain her sixth constellation.

Noelle is one of Genshin Impact’s OG characters, releasing alongside the game in September 2020. She. is regarded as the “maid of all maids” in the Knights of Favonius. Despite being a skilled maid, she dreams of joining the Knights of Favonius.

Noelle can shield and heal her teammates in addition to dishing out Geo damage in battle. This combination makes her a must-have to several team compositions.

If you’re looking to add Noelle to your party, keep reading to learn our recommended artifacts, weapons, and more.

Noelle abilities in Genshin Impact

Noelle in Genshin Impact
  • Normal Attack: Performs up to 4 consecutive strikes.
  • Charged Attack: Drains Stamina over time to perform continuous swirling attacks against all nearby enemies. At end of the sequence, perform a more powerful slash.
  • Plunging Attack: Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging enemies along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact.

Elemental Skill: Breastplate

Summons a protective stone armor, dealing Geo DMG to surrounding enemies and creating a shield. The shield’s DMG Absorption scales based on Noelle’s DEF.
The shield has the following properties:

  • When Noelle’s Normal and Charged Attacks hit a target, they have a certain chance to regenerate HP for all characters, both on and off the field.
  • Applies the Geo element to the character.
  • Possesses 250% Absorption Efficiency against Geo DMG.

The amount of HP healed when regeneration is triggered scales based on Noelle’s DEF.

Elemental Burst: Sweeping Time

Gathering the strength of stone around her weapon, Noelle strikes the enemies surrounding her within a large AoE, dealing Geo DMG.
Afterwards, Noelle gains the following effects:

  • Larger attack AoE.
  • Converts attack DMG to Geo DMG.
  • Increased ATK that scales based on her DEF.

Noelle constellations

Noelle's constellations in Genshin Impact

Many players hope to acquire Noelle’s sixth constellation due to its powerful buff. Here is what you can expect from pulling multiple copies of Noelle:

  • Level 1 – I Got Your Back: While Sweeping Time and Breastplate are both in effect, the chance of Breastplate’s healing effects activating is increased to 100%.
  • Level 2 – Combat Maid: Decreases the Stamina Consumption of Noelle’s Charged Attacks by 20% and increases her Charged Attack DMG by 15%.
  • Level 3 – Invulnerable Maid: Increases the Level of Breastplate by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15.
  • Level 4 – To Be Cleaned: When Breastplate’s duration expires or it is destroyed by DMG, it will deal 400% ATK of Geo DMG to surrounding enemies.
  • Level 5 – Favonius Sweeper Master: Increase the Level of Sweeping Time by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15.
  • Level 6 – Must Be Spotless: Sweeping Time increases Noelle’s ATK by an additional 50% of her DEF. Additionally, every enemy defeated during the skill’s duration adds 1s to the duration, up to 10s.

Best Noelle Artifacts in Genshin Impact

If you’re looking to build Noelle as a Geo Main DPS, we recommend using the Husk of Opulent Dreams set. This will increase her defense and grant her a Geo DMG Bonus. However, if you want to use Noelle as a shield and healing support, you’ll want to have the Ocean-Hued Clam artifact set.

Artifact Set Bonuses
Husk-of-Opulent-Dreams-Genshin-Impact-Artifact-setHusk of Opulent Dreams 2-piece set bonus: DEF +30%.
4-piece set bonus: A character equipped with this Artifact set will obtain the Curiosity effect in the following conditions: When on the field, the character gains 1 stack after hitting an opponent with a Geo attack, triggering a maximum of once every 0.3s. When off the field, the character gains 1 stack every 3s. Curiosity can stack up to 4 times, each providing 6% DEF and a 6% Geo DMG Bonus. When 6 seconds pass without gaining a Curiosity stack, 1 stack is lost.
Ocean-Hued Clam Genshin ImpactOcean-Hued Clam2-piece set bonus: Healing Bonus +15%
4-piece set bonus:  When the character equipping this artifact set heals a character in the party, a Sea-Dyed Foam will appear for 3 seconds, accumulating the amount of HP recovered from healing (including overflow healing). At the end of the duration, the Sea-Dyed Foam will explode, dealing DMG to nearby opponents based on 90% of the accumulated healing. (This DMG is calculated similarly to Reactions such as Electro-Charged, and Superconduct, but is not affected by Elemental Mastery, Character Levels, or Reaction DMG Bonuses). Only one Sea-Dyed Foam can be produced every 3.5 seconds. Each Sea-Dyed Foam can accumulate up to 30,000 HP (including overflow healing). There can be no more than one Sea-Dyed Foam active at any given time. This effect can still be triggered even when the character who is using this artifact set is not on the field.

Best Noelle weapon in Genshin Impact

The best weapon to put on Noelle is Redthorn Stonethresher. This will increase Noelle’s DEF by 28% and also improve her Normal and Charged Attack DMG based on 40% of her DEF. The Redthorn Stonethresher is Arataki Itto’s signature Claymore, so it may be difficult to obtain due to it being event-exclusive.

If you’re looking for 4-star alternatives or have placed the Redthorn Stonethresher on someone else, we recommend using either the Serpent Spine or Whiteblind.

Best Noelle team comp

A screenshot from the game Genshin Impact

We recommend using Noelle alongside Furina due to their excellent synergization in battle. You have multiple options to pick for the remaining two slots, but some of the best options include Gorou, Yun Jin, Albedo, and Yelan.

If you choose Gorou, you’ll be able to provide buffs from him and Furina for Noelle to dish out damage and heal her teammates.

Another team comp possibility could be Noelle, Albedo, Gorou, and Fischl. Albedo and Fischl would regenerate Noelle’s energy with Gorou providing DEF buffs to increase Noelle’s damage output.

That’s everything you need to know about how to effectively build Noelle. In the meantime, check out our other Genshin Impact build guides below:
