Positron Batteries are rare but easy to get in Starfield. All you need to do is visit Denis Avernin in Cydonia, Mars. It can also be obtained from Dietrich Seighart in Neon City, Volii Alpha. Each Positron Battery costs 133 credits.

It is not that costly, but in the early game, you might find it difficult to buy too many at a time. Regardless. it is a valuable item to have.

Positron Batteries can be used to craft the Ignition Beams mod. This mod enhances the damage output of lasers and also inflicts burns on enemies. Therefore, it is a very good mod for any kind of Laser rifle within the game.
