Here’s a look at what’s to come during the Pokemon Go Weather Week event, including times, spawns, raids, and Collection Challenges.

On March 6, Niantic confirmed new details on what will be coming to Pokemon Go during a mid-March event.

Weather Week will focus on Generation III Pokemon Castform. The event will feature special spawns affected by the weather, as well as Field Research and new bosses.

Here’s an overview of what to expect from the upcoming event.

Pokemon Go Weather Week start date & time

The Pokemon Go Weather Week event is set to run from March 14, 2024 at 10:00 AM local time until March 18, 2024 at 8:00 PM local time.

Pokemon Go Weather Week spawns

Given the name, it’s not hard to figure out that Castform will be a featured Pokemon for this event. Castform will appear more frequently, and its type will depend on what type of weather conditions in the game.

Speaking of weather conditions, the other more frequent spawns during the Weather Week will depend on the type of weather. Here’s a look at what each condition will do to the spawns.

During the Pokemon Go Weather Week event, players can enjoy the following bonuses:

Catch Pokemon with Weather Boost to earn extra Stardust.
2× Stardust for catching Pokémon.

Much like past events, Weather Week will boast special Field Research rewards. Those who complete Field Research tasks, regardless of weather conditions, may encounter the following:

This event will include special PokeStop Showcases, in which event-themed Pokemon will be eligible.
