The downtime for Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 will end on March 8, 2024 at around 5:00 pm EST. There is no set time for maintenance to end, but the last status update has stated that the maintenance will take at least 8 more hours.

Previous season launches happened at 2:00 am EST, which means that Season 2 will start considerably later than usual.

The length of the downtime for Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 will be around 10 hours in total on March 8, 2024. It was initially expected to last a few hours, but Epic games has now confirmed that it will last atleast an additional 8 hours longer, bringing it to over 10 hours.
