Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 brings a batch of new content all centered around Greek mythology to the battle royale.
This includes a handful of new weapons that players can use to take out their competition in exciting ways.
The Gatekeeper Shotgun is one such weapon that you’ll want to get your hands on as soon as you can, it’s worth going out of your way to look for. Here’s how you can find it.
How to get the Gatekeeper Shotgun
Epic GamesIn order to get the Gatekeeper Shotgun, you simply will need to play a match of Fortnite, as its normal variant can be found all across the island. Just look through chests, buildings, and more to come across it.
However, you can get your hands on the Mythic variant of the Gatekeeper Shotgun by finding and defeating Cerberus.
You will find the three-headed guard of the Underworld on the west side of the map, at the Grim Gate POI, where they will be standing watch. Simply approach them and the battle will begin. They will use the Gatekeeper Shotgun on you during the fight so watch out for those powerful shots.
Keep up the damage, and eventually Cerberus will roll over, giving you a chance to grab its weapon.
Just be careful: this weapon can only be used by one player at a time in each match, and there will be other players landing there to get the Gatekeeper Shotgun for themselves. You will certainly have more than just Cerberus to worry about, so get a weapon as quickly as you can after landing.
The gun itself will fire off three powerful shots in a row that can deal massive damage to your enemies. However, this is negated by a slow reload time to balance it out. Just be on-target with those first three shots, though, and you won’t have to worry about it at all.
