As the ferocious flying dragon Noibat is now in Pokemon Go, learn how you can grab yourself one of these rare creatures, and whether or not you can encounter its Shiny form as well.

Pokemon fans first met Noibat all the way back in Pokemon X & Pokemon Y, where the Flying and Dragon-type Pokemon was roaming the skies of Kalos.

Nowadays, Noibat is still fairly tough to find, but thankfully it’s possible to discover the dangerous Dragon-type in Pokemon Go, so eager players can grab this Pocket Monster on the go.

So if you’re aiming to add this flappy wyvern to your team, and want to know if you can find yourself a Shiny, we’ve got everything you need to know.

How to get Noibat in Pokemon Go?

Noibat is available to catch in Pokemon Go, and is currently appearing more frequently in the wild as part of the Pokemon Go Lunar New Year 2024 event.

The Pokemon Go Lunar New Year 2024 event runs from February 5, 2024, until February 11, 2024. So, players don’t have long to gather the 400 Noibat Candy needed to evolve Noibat into Noivern.

Sadly, there is not an increase in Noibat appearing in Raids or Eggs as part of this event, so the only way to catch it is to encounter it in the wild.
