Therian Forme landorus

Therian Forme Landorus is returning to  5-star Raids in Pokemon Go, with the powerful Legendary creature now appearing in 5-Star Raids – and you’ll need strong counters to take it down.

The Forces of Nature trio are three of the strongest Legendaries available in Pokemon Go, so trainers will be glad to know that they’ve got another chance to catch Therian Forme Landorus.

Landorus first appeared in its Incarnate Forme in Pokemon Black & White on the Nintendo DS, and it was later revealed to have a powered-up Therian Forme in Black & White 2. Both forms are now available in Pokemon Go.

Below, we’ve put together a guide for the best counters you can bring into battle to take advantage of Therian Forme Landorus’ weaknesses, as well as the movesets that will help lead you straight to victory.

Therian Forme Landorus weaknesses in Pokemon Go

Therian Forme Landorus has the same Ground/Flying typing as its Incarnate Forme, which means it’s weak to Water-type attacks and extremely weak to Ice-type attacks.

On the other side of the coin, Therian Forme Landorus is resistant to Electric, Fighting, Bug, Poison, and Ground-type attacks, so avoid taking any of those into these raids with you.

How to catch Therian Forme Landorus in Pokemon Go

Therian Forme Landorus will appear in 5-Star Raids in Pokemon Go from Wednesday, January 24, 2024, to Wednesday, January 31, 2024.

This means you’ll have just one week to encounter and defeat this powerful Legendary. We’d recommend teaming up with at least five other trainers and using our best counter suggestions above.

Therian Forme Landorus has a very high Raid Boss CP of 51,858 and is boosted by Sunny and Windy weather, so you’ll want to avoid battling it during these conditions – unless you want a challenge, that is!

If you do manage to defeat Therian Forme Landorus, you’ll be given a limited amount of Premier Balls to try and catch it – using Pinap Berries and landing Excellent Curveball Throws will definitely help.

Can Therian Forme Landorus be Shiny in Pokemon Go?

The good news is that Shiny Therian Forme Landorus is available in Pokemon Go. It previously made its debut during the Season of Alola.

As always, finding Shiny Pokemon isn’t easy, and it will require a mix of patience and luck. The chances of finding one in a Raid Battle are believed to be 1 in 20, so it could take a while to encounter one.

Remember, you’ll only have one week to beat Therian Forme Landorus, as it will leave 5-Star Raids on January 31.  You can see the full Pokemon Go Raid boss schedule here.
