Pokemon Go’s Sinnoh Tour Global event features a branching Special Research quest that trainers can take on. Here’s everything you need to know about how to complete it and earn the rewards.

Pokemon Go’s Sinnoh Tour Global event is set to begin on February 24, 2024. The event is available to all players around the world and offers up some great opportunities to catch some of Generation 4’s strongest Pokemon.

During the event, trainers can choose the Diamond or Pearl badge paths, encounter Legendary Pokemon, and complete a variety of different Research quests.

One of those quests is the It’s About Time and Space Special Research quest, which features branching paths. So, let’s break down each branching path’s tasks and the rewards they give.

Pokemon Go Sinnoh Tour Special Research tasks

Thanks to Leek Duck, here are the tasks and rewards for the It’s About Time and Space Special Research quest:

Step 0 of 4

Choose a path (Turtwig, Chimchar, or Piplup)

At the start of the quest, you’ll be given the choice between the Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup branches. The branch you choose for the Timed Research quest will slightly impact the It’s About Time and Space Special Research quest.

Additionally, choosing the Diamond or Pearl badge path will slightly alter some rewards during the Special Research quest. This will be reflected in each Step by a (D) or (P) notation.

Catch 15 Pokemon Originally Discovered in the Sinnoh region – Incense x1
Use and Incense – Shadow Turtwig Encounter
