These are the challenges for the Pokemon Go Lunar New Year: Dragons Unleashed Timed Research, as well as all the rewards that can be obtained from it.

In conjunction with the Pokemon Go Lunar New Year 2024 event, Niantic released a special Timed Research challenge that trainers can complete during the festivities.

Players will have to complete a number of tasks related to Dragon-types, and those who do complete them will receive a slew of rewards, including an encounter with newcomer Drampa.

Power up 5 Dragon-type Pokemon – Bagon Encounter
Spin 10 PokeStops or Gyms – Axew Encounter
Catch 15 Dragon-type Pokemon -Skrelp Encounter

Rewards: 2,000 Stardust, 4,000 XP, 2 Lucky Eggs

Power up 5 Dragon-type Pokemon – Gible Encounter
Evolve a Dragon-type Pokemon – Goomy Encounter
Power up 10 Dragon-type Pokemon – Deino Encounter
Evolve 3 Dragon-type Pokemon – Jangmo-o Encounter
Power up 15 Dragon-type Pokemon – Turtonator Encounter

Rewards: 4,000 Stardust, 8.000 XP, Drampa Encounter

Tickets for the Pokemon Go Lunar New Year: Dragons Unleashed Timed Research cost $2 or equivalency in one’s local region.

Trainers are able to purchase and gift tickets to any Pokemon Go friends who have achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with.

Also, be advised that Timed Research challenges and rewards expire. Pokemon Go players must claim all rewards associated with the Lunar New Year Timed Research by February 11 at 8:00 pm, local time.
