Here’s a look at how Pokemon Go players can obtain Normal/Dragon-type Drampa in the mobile game and whether a Shiny version is obtainable.

Drampa made its debut during Pokemon Go’s 2024 Lunar New Year event to celebrate the Year of the Dragon. However, the ‘mon first appeared in the mainline games Pokemon Sun & Moon.

But how exactly can Go players obtain Drampa now, and is its Shiny version currently available?

Here are the answers to those questions.

How to get Drampa in Pokemon Go

Trainers could have obtained Drampa through 3-star Raids or Field Research tasks during the 2024 Lunar New Year festival.

Since Drampa does not spawn in the wild, you’ll have to wait until it makes its rotation in 3-star Raids again. We will keep this article updated to announce when Drampa will be featured in any events.

Can Drampa be Shiny in Pokemon Go?

Yes, the Shiny version of Drama is currently available in Pokemon Go.

Traditionally, Niantic does not usually add the Shiny form of a Pokemon when one arrives in the mobile game. However, that was not the case with Drampa.

The Shiny version of Drampa was made available alongside its regular version during the Lunar New Year 2024 event.
