Chatot is a regional-exclusive Pokemon that can be found in the wild in regions south of the equator. This includes Brazil, Australia, Uruguay, Argentina, South Africa, Chile, Zambia, Paraguay, New Zealand, and Indonesia.

Trainers who live outside of those areas should keep on the lookout for special events like Community Days or raids. Aside from trades, special events and raids are good alternatives for those who need regional-exclusive Pokemon.

Yes, Chatot can be found as a Shiny in Pokemon Go. Shiny Chatot made its debut during the Sinnoh Tour 2024 event alongside a handful of other Pokemon.

Trainers who participated in the Los Angeles portion of the Sinnoh Tour event could take advantage of 10km Chatot Eggs.

Trainers north of the equator should do their best to take advantage of Chatot’s limited availability before the Global event—which begins on February 24, 2024—ends on February 25, 2024, at 6 PM local time.
