Whenever a new year of NBA 2K rolls around, you have to start again from scratch. Your MyCareer builds are different, you’ll need new cards in MyTeam, and if you want to stand out in The City, you’re going to need some serious drip. Well, that’s where VC comes into play.
If you pre-ordered either the Black Mamba Edition or 25th Anniversary Edition, you’ll have a headstart. Both of these land you with 100,000 VC off the bat to use to your heart’s content.
However, if you didn’t go for either of those and have the base game instead, you’ll probably be purchasing some VC not long after starting up the game. So, here’s what you need to know about the prices, and also how to get some for free.
How to buy VC in NBA 2K24 & prices
The prices of VC haven’t changed much at all this year, aside from the fact that there is now a 700,000 VC option at the top end of the store.
To access the VC store in-game, you’re going to go through either the MyCareer or MyTeam menus. In both of these modes you’ll see a ‘Get VC’ option in the menu, simply click on that, and you’ll be greeted with seven options of different levels of VC.
These prices don’t permanently change through the year, but there are VC sales from time to time, so you may want to check those out when they come around.
