Normal Attack – As Water Seeks Equilibrium

Normal Attack

Lightly waves his cane, commanding the tides to unleash a maximum of 3 attacks, dealing Hydro DMG.

Charged Attack Empowerment: Legal Evaluation

While charging up, Neuvillete will gather the power of water, forming it into a Seal of Arbitration. In this state, Neuillete can move and change facing, and also absorb any Sourcewater Droplets in a certain AoE. Every Droplet he absorbs will increase the formation speed of the Seal, and will heal Neuvillete based on his Max HP. When the charging is stopped, if the Symbol has yet to be formed, then a Charged Attack will be unleashed. It if has been formed, then a Charged Attack: Equitable Judgement will be unleashed.

Charged Attack

Consumes a fixed amount of Stamina to attack opponents with a rupturing ring of water, dealing AoR Hydro DMG.

Charged Attack: Equitable Judgment

Unleashes surging torrents, dealing continuous AoE Hydro DMG to all opponents in a straight-line area in front of him. Equitable Judgment will not consume any Stamina and lasts X second(s). If Neuvillete’s HP is above 50%, he will continuously lose HP while using this attack.

Plunging Attack

Gathering the might of Hydro, Neuvillete plunges towards the ground from mid-air, damaging all opponents in his path. Deals AoE Hydro DMG upon impact with the ground.

Elemental Skill – O Tears I Shall Repay

Summons a Raging Waterfall that will deal AoE Hydro DMG to opponents in front of him. After hitting an opponent, this skill will generate 3 Sourcewater Droplets near that opponent.

Arkhe: Pneuma

At certain intervals, when the Raging Waterfall descends, a Spiritbreath Thorn will emerge that will pierce opponents, dealing Pneuma-aligned Hydro DMG.

Elemental Burst – O Tides, I Have Returned

Unleashes a rupturing wave that will deal AoE Hydro DMG based on Neuvillete’s Max HP. After a short interval, 2 waterfalls will descend and deal Hydro DMG in a somewhat smaller AoE, and will generate 6 Sourcewwater Droplets within an area in front.

Heir to the Ancient Sea’s Authority

When a party member triggers a Vaporize, Frozen, Electro-Charged, Bloom, Hydro Swirl, or a Hydro Crystallize reaction on opponents, 1 stack of Past Draconic Glories will be granted to Neuvillete for 30s. Max 3 stacks. Will increase the DMG of Charged Attack: Equitable Judgment by 110%/130%/160%. Each Past Draconic Glories stack created by each Elemental Reaction exists independently.

Discipline of Supreme Arbitration

For each 1% of Neuvillete’s HP over 30%, he will gain 0.6% Hydro DMG Bonus. A maximum of 30% can be obtained this way.

Gather Like the Tide

All party members’ underwater Movement SPD will be increased by 15%.

Level 1 – Venerable Institution: When Neuvillete takes the field, he will obtain 1 stack of past Draconic Glories from the Passive Talent “Heir to the Ancient Sea’s Legacy.” You must first unlock the Passive Talent “Heir to the Ancient Sea’s Authority.” Additionally, his interruption resistance will be increased when using Charged Attack: Equitable Judgment.
Level 2 – Juridician Exhortation: The Passive Talent “Heir to the Ancient Sea’s Legacy” will be enhanced: Each stack for Past Draconic Glories will increase the CRIT DMG of Charged Attack: Equitable Judgment by 14%. The maximum increase that can be achieved this way is 42%. You must first unlock the Passive Talent “Heir to the Ancient Sea’s Legacy.”
Level 3 – Ancient Postulation: Increases the Level of Normal Attack: As Still Waters by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15.
Level 4 – Crown of Commiseration: When Neuvillete is on the field and healed, 1 Sourcewater Droplet will be generated. This effect can occur once every 4s.
Level 5 – Axiomatic Judgment: Increase the Level of O Tides, I Have Returned by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15.
Level 6 – Wrathful Recompense: When using Charged Attack: Equitable Judgment, Neuvillete can absorb nearby Sourcewater Droplets in an AoE. Each absorbed Droplet will increase the duration of Charged Attack: Equitable Judgment by 1. Additionally, when Equitable Judgment hits opponents, it will fire off 2 additional currents every 2s, each of which will deal 10% of Neuvillete’s Max HP as Hydro DMG. DMG dealt this way will count as DMG dealt by Equitable Judgment.

Best Neuvillette Artifacts in Genshin Impact

The best artifact set for Neuvillete in Genshin Impact is Marechausee Hunter. This is because Neuvillette is dependent on both HP as well as charged attacks to deal damage. This artifact set covers both those areas.

The set bonus for this artifact set are provided below:

2-piece bonus: Normal and Charged Attack DMG +15%
4-piece bonus: When current HP increases or decreases, CRIT Rate will be increased by 12% for 5s. Max 3 stacks.

You could also use the 4-piece Wanderer’s Troupe to focus less on his HP and more on his damage output.

Here is the set bonus for Wanderer’s Troupe:

2-piece bonus: Increases Elemental Mastery by 80.
4-piece bonus: Increases Charged Attack DMG by 35% if the character uses a Catalyst or a Bow.

Best Neuvillette weapon in Genshin Impact

Neuvillette’s best-in-slot weapon increases his DPS by a significant amount

The best weapon for Neuvillette in Genshin Impact is Tome of the Eternal Flow. This is his signature 5-star catalyst and it provides CRIT DMG as a substat that is beneficial for Neuvillette. This catalyst also increases the HP of the wearer by 16%.

Whenever the wearer’s HP increases or decreases, their Charged ATK damage increases by 14% for 4s. This effect has a maximum of 3 stacks and can be triggered once every 0.3s. Additionally, once the wearer has 3 stacks, they will gain 8 energy.

This weapon, however, can only be obtained from the weapon banner at limited times. However, if you are looking for a secondary option, then Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds is a powerful choice for Neuvillette.

Apart from that, Prototype Amber and Sacrificial Jade are also pretty good choices for him in terms of 4-star options.

Neuvillette is a powerful DPS who works well alongside Furina, Kazuha, and Baizhu. This team comp focuses on buffing Neuvillette’s passive, with Furina and Kazuha acting as the party’s sub-DPS options. Lastly, Baizhu is the team’s Support, providing both healing and shielding.

Alternatively, you could put Neuvillette on a Hyperbloom team consisting of Raiden Shogun, Baizhu, and Nahida. This setup makes use of Neuvillette’s ability to effectively apply Hydro to enemies.
