Best Electric Pals in Palworld

Palworld Tower Boss Electric-type

Of all the different elements involved in Palworld, Electric-types may well be the most instantaneously devastating in combat. Though Fire is the better option for continuous damage over time, none can blow away the opposition like their high-voltage brethren.

There are nine elements in Palworld for players to contend with, each with their own particular strengths and weaknesses. Though weak against Ground Pals, Electric-types have far more to offer in terms of raw damage than many of the other elements in the game.

Additionally, there are a ton of Water-type Pals to collect in Palworld, including some of the best Alpha Pals in the game, and the right Electric companion makes working through those epic encounters a relative breeze.

Here are the best ones to go for on the way to Level 50.

Rayhound

Rayhound the Electric-type in Palworld
  • Element: Electric-type
  • Partner Skill: Jumping Force – Can be ridden. Can double jump while mounted.
  • Work Suitability: Electricity Lv. 2

Though it isn’t the most helpful companion in a base-building setting, Rayhound is an absolute monster during combat. Outputting some of the best single-target and group damage in the middle levels, it’s nearly capable of clearing dungeons on its own.

It has excellent utility thanks to its ability to serve as a mount, and it’s a great stop-gap before finding an extra-fast flying mount. There are a few better options around this level, and a Rayhound is absolutely worth grabbing.

Relaxaurus Lux

Relaxaurus Lux Palworld Electric-type
  • Element: Electric/Dragon-type
  • Partner Skill: Missile Party – Can be ridden. Can rapidly fire a Missile Launcher while mounted.
  • Work Suitability: Transporting Lv. 1, Electricity Lv. 3

Much like its Water-Type equivalent Pal, Relaxaurus Lux is a brilliant choice for challenging combat. Not only does its immense health pool make it a tough customer, it can be ridden, providing a great vantage point to use the rapid-fire Missile Launcher against unfortunate enemies.

It has a very capable Lv. 3 Electricity ability for later game activities around camp, and it’s a capable transporter of goods, though there are better options in the latter department.

Univolt

Palworld Paldeck 2 Univolt Electric-type
  • Element: Electric-type
  • Partner Skill: Swift Deity – Can be ridden. Applies Electric damage to the player’s attacks while mounted.
  • Work Suitability: Lumbering Lv. 1, Electricity Lv. 2

It isn’t easy to separate Univolt and Rayhound in a list because they are genuinely similar in design. Both can be ridden as a mount and output incredible damage against enemies. That said, Univolt has two distinct advantages over its canine brethren.

The first of these is its Partner Skill, which adds Electric damage to any attacks the player completes. This is preferable to the double jump boost of the Rayhound, mainly because it’s helpful in more situations. Univolt also offers a little more at the base, able to start Lumbering as well as outputting Electricity.

Beakon

beakon palworld Electric-type
  • Element: Electric-type
  • Partner Skill: Thunderous – Can be ridden as a flying mount. Applies Electric damage to the player’s attacks while mounted.
  • Work Suitability: Transporting Lv. 3, Electricity Lv. 2, Gathering Lv. 1

One of the few Electric-type Pals that can be used as a flying mount, Beakon is a great companion in almost every regard. Not only does it apply the same Electric buff to player attacks, but it also carries immense damage-dealing abilities in its own right.

Not only that, but Beakon is a fantastic companion to have working on the base. As with many of the Pals on this list, it has Lv. 2 Electricity, but it also adds Lv. 1 Gathering and an immense Lv. 3 Transporting to its repertoire. Get one of these, and you’ll have those goods moving around camp in no time at all.

Mossanda Lux

Where to find Mossanda Lux in Palworld
  • Element: Electric-type
  • Partner Skill: Grenadier Panda – Can be ridden. Can rapidly fire a grenade launcher while mounted.
  • Work Suitability: Handiwork Lv. 2, Lumbering Lv. 2, Transporting Lv. 3, Electricity Lv. 2

Don’t be fooled by its cute Orange Panda appearance; Mossanda Lux packs a significant punch. As well as its high damage ceiling, it also allows the player to mount up and fire a Grenade Launcher while mounted, in a similar mechanic to Grizzbolt and Relaxaurus Lux.

Its real strength comes in camp, however, where it is one of the most well-rounded Pals in the entire game. It has three of the best general skills in the game at that level, and it adds Lv. 2 Electricity to the equation for further utility overall.

Grizzbolt

Grizzbolt from Palworld.
  • Element: Electric-type
  • Partner Skill: Yellow Tank – Can be ridden. Can rapidly fire a minigun while mounted.
  • Work Suitability: Handiwork Lv. 2, Lumbering Lv. 2, Transporting Lv. 3, Electricity Lv. 4

Grizzbolt is arguably becoming the most iconic Pal in all of Palworld and the face of the franchise overall. As the first Tower Boss Pal that players face in the game, it doesn’t take too long to realize what an absolute wrecking ball it is. Add to that the minigun that can be fired after mounting the Pal, and there are few who can stand in its way.

Almost unbelievably, Grizzbolt is also extremely useful around the base. It’s a highly effective transporter of goods and has the highest Electricity output in the game (with Orserk). It can also pitch in with Handiwork and Lumbering.

Orserk

  • Element: Electric/Dragon-type
  • Partner Skill: Ferocious Thunder Dragon – While fighting together, Water Pals drop more items when defeated.
  • Work Suitability: Handiwork Lv. 2, Transporting Lv. 3, Electricity Lv. 4

Deciding whether Orserk or Grizzbolt is the best Electric-type in the game really does feel like the flip of a coin. They both share three of the same Work Suitabilities and they output similar levels of personal damage in combat (though Orserk does come out slightly on top).

Orserk’s main advantage comes with its additional Dragon typing, which allows it to take on some of the greatest threats in Palworld more easily than Grizzbolt. It’s also a better Pal to use for farming, thanks to its Partner Skill loot bonus.
