How to get Shredder TMNT skin in Fortnite

Shredder has arrived in Fortnite as part of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Event. Here is how you can get the Shredder skin.

Players have been loving Fortnite’s Chapter 5 Season 1, as Epic Games introduced all new additions, mid-season updates, and various skins and cosmetics to the game.

There have been plenty of skins to get excited about this season, like Peter Griffin, Solid Snake, and Raiden from Metal Gear Solid.

One of the standouts was the Shredder skin that came as part of the TMNT event. Here was when, and how, you could obtain the Shredder skin.

How to get Shredder and Super-Shredder in Fortnite

In order to get the Shredder skin and related cosmetics in Fortnite, you needed to purchase the TMNT Cowabunga Pass. While you could earn rewards from the Cowabunga Event Pass for free, you needed to stock up on V-Bucks to get the Shredder Skin from the Premium Pass, which cost 1,000 V-Bucks.

To get the regular Shredder skin, you needed to purchase the Premium Fortnite x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Cowabunga Pass to unlock him instantly.

The Super Shredder cosmetic was a completely different Skin, not just a different style. To unlock the Super Shredder Skin you needed to collect 11,000 Ooze by completing Event quests and challenges.

As of now, the TMNT event has ended and the Shredder skin is no longer available in the game. However, this does not mean that it won’t be returning at some point.

Fortnite is known to recycle its skins through different events and the popularity of TMNT is sure to mean that Shredder will return. While Epic has not officially confirmed this, it may happen at some point in the future.
