Ever since the now infamous version 8.20 Fortnite update, a lot of the longtime Fortnite players had a bone to pick with Epic Games.

This update removed health and materials upon kill in normal lobbies but also created a ranked playlist for players to get matched up against players with a similar skill set.

The addition of the ranked playlist was something players had long been asking for but it turns out it didn’t work quite as one would have hoped.

Queues for the playlist are very long for many players and have caused players to go into the normal playlist and basically stomp on bad players.

Ninja blasts the current state of Fortnite

Ninja is one of the most popular Fortnite streamers on Twitch and his words hold a lot of weight with many players. He recently held a poll that received hundreds of thousands of votes on Twitter asking fans if they wanted Epic Games to revert the last patch.

It’s no secret Ninja wasn’t a fan of this patch but during his stream on April 3 he finally let it all out.

“I can’t do it, I’m not gonna sit around in arena solos all day,” he said. “I’m not gonna wait five minutes to get into a freaking game just to play with the settings I want. I’m not gonna do it. So you win Epic.”

This has been a common complaint with the game since v8.20 so Ninja does have a fair point. He went on the share more about how he feels about Fortnite currently.

“These solos are just beyond stupid,” he said. “You just get a bunch of sweats in these normal solos now because they probably don’t want to wait for a frickin’ 100 hours to get into a match. So now we’re all playing these trash settings.”

After the rant, Ninja went on to play arguably a more rage inducing game in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
