With so many weapons to pick from, Warzone players are in a constant battle to figure out which are best. To help you pick the meta guns that fit your playstyle, here are the top 10 most popular guns in Warzone Season 4.

Warzone is constantly adding new guns to its roster, with Season 4 alone introducing the Superi 46, Kar98k, and Reclaimer 18. This is in addition to the constant buffs and nerfs that drop with each update. These changes see the meta constantly evolve, and that makes it hard to know what guns are still worth using.

From the hard-hitting SVA 545 to the laser-accurate MCW, Warzone players have more choices to make than ever before. To avoid getting overwhelmed you need to know which weapons stand out in such a diverse meta.

Naturally, the best ones are usually the most used. Using data from WZRanked, here are the 10 most popular guns in Warzone right now that players are getting the most value out of.

Most used guns in Warzone Season 4

10. SVA 545

SVA 545 previewed in Call of Duty: Warzone.

As in previous Warzone seasons, the SVA 545 continues to have a big presence in the meta. While its hip-fire accuracy was nerfed in Season 3 Reloaded this was never a relevant stat to begin with. As a result, this popular AR is still top-tier, highly accurate, and doesn’t look to be leaving the meta anytime soon.

9. WSP Swarm

The WSP Swarm in COD Warzone.

With a fast TTK at close range, its great recoil, and the ability to still be deadly at medium range with the right loadout, the WSP Swarm has shot up in usage over its life-span as a solid SMG pick if you find yourself in close-ranged battles.

8. BP50

BP50 AR Warzone loadout

Since its introduction in Season 2, the BP50 has been nerfed again and again. That’s no surprise given just how incredibly strong it was in the first place. Even after countless nerfs, the BP50 remains one of the best assault rifles in Warzone. It offers great handling, mobility, a fast TTK, and even has clear iron sights. On top of all that, the new JAK Revenger kit turns it into a meta SMG.

7. XRK Stalker

XRK Stalker previewed in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

If you have been paying any attention these last few seasons, you’ll know that sniping is undoubtedly meta. It might not be the top sniper right now, but the XRK Stalker is still absolutely meta and a fantastic choice in Resurgence where its fast handling helps it stand out. In the right hands, nothing is beating the XRK Stalker.

6. MORS

MORS Sniper Rifle from MW3 and Warzone Season 3.

The MORS is a truly spectacular sniper rifle. It offers comparable damage to the far heavier KATT-AMR while having fast handling like the XRK Stalker. Even after its ADS speed and bullet velocity were both nerfed in Season 3 Reloaded, the MORS is still the best sniper in Warzone.

5. MCW

The JAK Raven kit in MW3.

To be clear, the MCW is not meta. It simply doesn’t deal enough damage to be worth using for a higher-skill player. Despite this, it has proven useful and that’s because this AR is remarkably easy to use. It has practically zero recoil and is the best option for those less confident in their aim. The MCW will struggle against meta weapons but is still solid in its own right.

4. M16

M16 burst assault rifle previewed in MW3.

Thanks to the significant buffs the M16 got in the April 16 update, it has seen its pick rate increase significantly. Now with recoil that has been significantly reduced in the patch, the M16 has become a very easy weapon to pick up.

3. WSP-9

WSP-9 previewed in Call of Duty: Warzone.

Following nerfs to both the HRM-9 and RAM-9, the WSP-9 has seen a surge in popularity becoming the most used gun in Warzone. It makes up for its slower fire rate by offering incredible accuracy, low recoil, and impressive damage range for an SMG.

2. DG-58 LSW

DG-58 LSW previewed in Call of Duty: Warzone.

With how the meta has settled there aren’t that many strong long-range weapons outside of snipers right now. However, the DG-58 LSW is the exception to that rule with its damage buffs cementing its place as the best LMG. It’s absurdly accurate and easy to use even at extreme ranges yet has a genuinely fast TTK. That’s a surefire combination for a top-tier weapon that you’ll want to try out.

1. Striker 9

Striker 9 SMG in Warzone and MW3.

No other gun has managed to be borderline meta for as long as the Striker 9. It has always been competitive thanks to its great TTK and fast handling but was always outclassed by something else. However, with most of its competitors getting nerfed, the Striker 9 has finally broken into the meta and is officially one of the most used guns in Warzone.

The Warzone meta as of May 28, 2024, per WZRanked:

  1. Striker 9 (20.99%)
  2. DG-58 LSW (19.74%)
  3. WSP-9 (16.33%)
  4. M16 (7.21%)
  5. MCW (5.43%)
  6. MORS (4.02%)
  7. XRK Stalker (3.08%)
  8. BP50 (2.84%)
  9. WSP Swarm (1.93%)
  10. SVA 545 (1.67%)

That’s all for the most used guns in Warzone. This list will be updated regularly to reflect how the meta evolves so be sure to check back.
