Pokemon Go’s Raging Battles event brings with it a Battle Weekend event and players can take on a Timed Research quest surrounding it. Here are all the tasks to complete and rewards to earn.

Pokemon Go’s Raging Battles event brings with it the debut of Gen 9’s Annihilape as well as a Battle Week event.

The Raging Battles event, and by extension the Battle Week January 2024 event, will begin on Friday, January 19, 2024, at 10 AM and last until Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at 8 PM local time.

Additionally, Battle Week January 2024 offers players the chance to take on a Timed Research quest, which gives trainers some handy rewards upon completion.

Pokemon Go Battle Week January 2024 free Timed Research tasks

Thanks to Serebii, here’s a list of the tasks and rewards for the free Go Battle Week quest for January 2024:

Battle in the GO Battle League 5 times – 7,500 XP
Battle in the GO Battle League 10 times – 7,500 XP
Use 10 Supereffective Charged Attacks – 7,500 XP
Power up Pokemon 10 times – 7,500 XP

Reward: Rare Candy x2, Elite Charged TM x1, Ingo Hat Avatar cosmetic x1

How to Participate in Raging Battles Battle Week Timed Research

Unlike other Battle Weekend events, the January 2024 Battle Week does not offer a paid battle-centric Timed Research event.

As such, the only Battle Week January 2024 Timed Research will be a free, event-exclusive quest. All trainers can participate in this Timed Research at no additional cost.

This event is time-sensitive, so make sure to complete the tasks and claim your rewards for the free event by January 24, 2024, at 11:59 PM local time otherwise, they will expire.
