How to get Allstar Vector Skimmer in Destiny 2

The Allstar Vector Skimmer is a brand new vehicle type in Destiny 2 that replaces the Sparrow. This vehicle is a Hoverboard that is both faster and more efficient than the Sparrow. Here is a guide on how to get it.

Destiny 2 Guardian Games 2024 officially began on March 5, 2024. This is an annual competition where the three Guardian classes try to complete as many activities as possible to come out victorious in the end by depositing their earned Medallions in The Tower.

While in most years this event is fairly boring this year is different. Bungie has introduced a brand new vehicle type in the game called the Allstar Vector Skimmer alongside Guardian Games 2024. This new vehicle completely changes the dynamics of how you travel in the Looter Shooter.

Here is a guide on how to get the Allstar Vector Skimmer in Destiny 2.

Destiny 2: How to get the Allstar Vector Skimmer

The steps to get access to the Allstar Vector Skimmer have been discussed in the following sections:

Step 1: Visit Eva Levante in the Tower

Visit Eva Levante in the tower to begin the quest

The first step in this is to visit Eva Levante in the tower and get access to the quest Best In Class. Accepting the quest will grant you the Guardian Games 2024 class item. Additionally, you will get two different objectives to complete:

Equip the Guardian Games Class Item
Activity Completed

Step 2: Start the Guardian Games: Recreational Playlist activity

Begin the Guardian Games: Recreational Playlist

Once you receive the Guardian Games class item, you must equip it before you do anything else. If you do not equip it, you will make no progress in your quest. After equipping, start the Guardian Games: Recreational Playlist activity as shown in the image provided above.

You will have to join a basic Vanguard Strike which will take very little time to complete. You can matchmake for this activity as well.

Step 3: Get access to the Medallion Case

Get access to the Medallion Case from Eva Levante

Once you complete the activity mentioned in the previous step, you need to visit Eva Levante in the tower once again. She will now give you access to the Medallion Case. After this, you need to speak to both Lord Zavala and Lord Shaxx and then back to Eva Levante once again.

This time, Eva Levante will reward you with the brand new Hullabaloo. This is a Heavy Wave Frame Grenade Launcher and can roll with both Voltshot and Chain Reaction in the third and fourth slots respectively. Therefore, it is worth farming.

Step 4: Get access to the White Allstar Vector Skimmer

Accept the Drop In quest from Eva Levante

After completing the previous step, you will get access to a brand new quest called Drop In from Eva Levante. Alongside that, you will also get access to a White version of the Allstar Vector Skimmer. This version will expire at the end of the event so you must complete the Drop In quest to make it permanent.

This quest will present you with three objectives:

1200 Medallion Score
Earn a top 10% score in Nightfall Challenges
Open 3 Focus Activity Winners Packages

You need to complete any one of the three objectives presented above. Out of these, the second one is the easiest to complete.

Step 5: Load into Guardian Games: Competitive Nightfall

Defeat champions in Guardian Games: Competitive Nightfall

The next step is to load into Guardian Games: Competitive Nightfall as shown in the image above. You will need to complete this Nightfall but also receive a score over 200,000 to complete the top 10% Nightfall challenge.

The task is a bit tricky so listen very carefully. In order to get the maximum possible score, you need to kill champions using finishers. However, there is a twist as right before you use the finisher, you will have to use an emote.

This emote can be anything you might have equipped, but you must use it before landing the finisher. If you use the emote and then land the finisher, you will get 9250 points. However, simply dropping the finisher will net you around 5000 points.

Hence, you need to kill every champion with this method and maintain over 130,000 points before you enter the boss room. This time, the Nightfall activity from the Guardian Games playlist is The Glassway. However, we are not sure if this will rotate every week similar to your regular Nightfalls.

Step 6: Get access to the Exotic Allstar Vector Skimmer

Get the exotic version of Allstar Vector Skimmer

Once you complete the Nightfall activity with a score of 220,000 or more, your White AllStar Vector Skimmer will get converted to an Exotic one. This one is permanent and you can use it however you want.

Sometimes it might take some time before the White version gets converted, so it is recommended you go to orbit after you complete the Nightfall.

Finally, as a concluding note, this Allstar Vector Skimmer is for everyone, which means even free-to-play players can get access to it.
