Gen II Pokemon Skarmory was a well-known threat in the mainline games. Pokemon trainers needed to be prepared for Skarmory, as several elite characters like Steven Stone used one in their team.

But what about Pokemon Go? Is Skarmory a viable Pokemon for PvP play?

The best moveset for Skarmory in Pokemon Go is to use Steel Wing as the Fast Attack, and Brave Bird and Sky Attack as the Charged Moves.

Skarmory can learn from one of two different Fast Moves, both of which give the STAB bonus. Steel Wing has the better EPS and DPS, making it the obvious choice.

As for the Charged Moves, Brave Bird is an exceptionally strong Flying-type move. Sky Attack, on the other hand, doesn’t have as much Power but does take less Energy.
