Call of Duty content creator Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff continues to dominate Warzone with the MAC-10. Despite receiving a nerf, this loadout proves the lightning-fast SMG still packs a punch.
The MAC-10 has been a somewhat controversial SMG in Warzone since the gun released as part of the Season 1 update. It quickly established itself as a strong candidate for best SMG in the game, a status which was cemented because of the incredible power of one of its blueprints.
It soon became clear that the Gallantry blueprint of the Mac-10 was far more powerful than the base version, leading large parts of the community to criticize Raven and Activision for the duration of time it remained considerably stronger.
Since the blueprints and base versions were weakened though, the gun has dropped off in terms of popularity, reflecting its relative strength but failure to dominate like it once could. That hasn’t stopped NICKMERCS from dropping his favourite no-recoil set-up, showing that in the right hands it can still deal devastating damage.
- Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
- Barrel: 5.3″ Extended
- Stock: Wire Stock
- Underbarrel: Patrol Grip
- Ammunition: Salvo 53 Rnd Fast Mag
Nick’s MAC-10 is significantly different from our own loadout that uses the SAS Combat Stock and Serpent Wrap Grip. Instead, the Call of Duty Streamer has opted for a build that maximizes the MAC-10’s mobility, while also adding a significant boost to the gun’s range and reducing its recoil.
First up is the Agency Suppressor. This handy muzzle eliminates the gun’s muzzle flash and increases damage range. While the MAC-10 is still best used in close-quarter scenarios, the added range can give you the damage needed to finish off any low health mid-range targets. Meanwhile, the 5.3″ Extended barrel bolsters the MAC-10’s damage range.
Both the Wire Stock and Patrol Grip serve to enhance the SMG’s mobility, making it ideal for those snappy run and gun moments. After all, speed is key when you wish to get the drop on your enemies.

Rounding things off at the bottom of the list is the Salvo 53 Rnd Fast Mag. Not only does this attachment speed up reload times, but significantly buffs the number of shots at the user’s disposal.
It’s certainly not hard to see why NICKMERCS thinks it’s still a viable weapon, with its strengths definitely augmented by the chosen attachments. Drop in and try it in Season 2.
