As Victor Timely, aka a variant of Kang, was introduced in Loki Season 2 Episode 3, fans wonder if he’s actually Kang from Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

Marvel‘s Loki Season 2 has been one multiverse hopping roller coaster of an adventure as the God of Mischief is back and ready to get into trouble.

Season 2 sees Loki, Mobius, and the TVA trying to contain the new timeline branches that can’t be helped by the Time Loom, or the machine that powers the TVA.

However, in Episode 3, audiences were re-introduced to Victor Timely, a variant of Kang the Conqueror or He Who Remains from Season 1. But, a lot of fans have wondered if Timely is the same person as Kang from Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania/He Who Remains.

Is Victor Timely the same as Kang aka He Who Remains?

A popular fan theory believes that Victor Timely and Kang from Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania are the same person as Kang never really died.

According to a Marvel Reddit theory, fans think that when Kang from Quantunmania was sucked into the multiverse power core at the end of the film, he teleported to the past and took the alias of Victor Timely.

The theory goes on to explain that Timely being the original Kang/He Who Remains would make sense as Loki and Mobius would need to “settle things with main man” in order to defeat Kang’s variants.

Timely being the original Kang in disguise would also make sense as in Quantunmania, Kang explained that he was exiled by his variants because Janet saw a vision of him conquering and destroying entire timelines.

If Timely ends up being the true original big bad, the rest of Loki Season 2 is sure to be a high-stakes fight for the fate of all the multiverse.
