Stocking up on food is just as important as equipping the best weapons, and that’s where the Chikipi comes in handy. Continue reading to discover how you can find and catch Chikipi in Palworld.

Despite still only being in early access, Palworld features over a hundred Pals, each with their own traits and abilities.

With that in mind, you may have been eyeing some of the best Pals in-game, like the elusive Vixy or the majestic Kitsun. However, remember that everyone starts from zero in this game, meaning that you’ll need to start with more common Pals as you expand your collection.

For those players who are still just starting out, Chikipi is one useful Pal you can add to your deck. This chicken-like creature may be small, but it can be a big help, especially when it comes to food. Here’s where to find and catch Chikipi in Palworld.

How to Find Chikipi in Palworld

Being quite a common Pal, you’ll easily find Chikipi in your default starting area in Palworld. In other words, the Plateau of Beginnings and directly north of the area, as designated on the map below.

You should be able to spot Chikipi in your starting area.

Most of the time, you’ll find them in a group, but sometimes you can also find one waddling alone in the wild.

This small chicken-like creature can be used for consumption purposes. Their drops include Egg and Chikipi Poultry. If you have a campfire setup, the latter ingredient can be used to make Grilled Chikipi.

How to Catch Chikipi in Palworld

There’s no fancy way of catching Chikipi in Palworld. Just have another Pal attack them or beat them up with a bat until they’re low. Once their health is low enough, throw the Pal Sphere at them and wait until they’re secured.

Once the catching progress hits 100%, they’re all yours, and you can have them help you in your base or during battles.

In case you didn’t know, they can also lay eggs when assigned to a Ranch, which is a pretty convenient way to stock up on food.
