Since launch, Xbox Series consoles have boasted an impressive library of exclusives when compared to the PlayStation 5. On top of that, most people are actually able to go out and purchase an Xbox Series X|S, while PS5 is still suffering from supply problems.

Following the Xbox Bethesda Showcase the exclusives list for Xbox is growing fast. Here’s are all the Xbox Series X|S exclusives we know of so far, including games that have already launched.

Upcoming Xbox Series X|S exclusives

2022 is shaping up to be a huge year for Xbox, and we’ve already received big-name titles like Forza Horizon 5, and more.

The Xbox Game Pass has proven to be a game-changer as well, giving subscribed players access to many exclusive titles right as they come out.

Below is a list of all the upcoming Xbox Series X|S exclusives, along with any confirmed release dates we have so far.

Scorn is a terrifying H.R. Giger-inspired FPS that will be out just in time for Halloween.

Scorn

  • October 21, 2022

Developed by Edd Software, Scorn is one of the most unique games we’ve seen in quite a while. Your character is stranded on a planet filled with biological horrors so terrifying, they make the Xenomorph look like a puppy.

You’ll have access to an entire arsenal of guns, which are just as trippy as the rest of the game, to fight through this unique, yet disturbing world. Scorn should be out in October 2022, just in time for Halloween.

Warhammer 40K: Darktide

  • September 13, 2022

Fresh from Fatshark Games, Warhammer 40K: Darktide will pit a team of four players against an entire galaxy of enemies, in the same vein as Warhammer: Vermintide.

Players will take on hordes of enemies, but set in the grim, dark future of the Warhammer 40K universe. 4oK fans are sure to love this one, as it will let you bring the Emperor’s diving retribution to those filthy servants of Chaos, heretics, and xenos alike.

Upcoming Xbox exclusives coming later than 2022:

Starfield is one of the most ambitious games Bethesda has ever attempted.

Starfield

  • First half of 2023

We got our first good look at Starfield during the 2022 Xbox Bethesda Games Showcase, and it’s safe to say it was one of the biggest titles shown.

With over 1000 different worlds, there are questions whether or not Bethesda will be able to pull a game of this scale off, but one thing’s for sure: it’s definitely going to be a popular one.

Fable 4

  • 2023-2024

While the next game in the popular Fable series has been officially confirmed, we still don’t know exactly when it will be coming out. However, the fact that we’ll be able to head back and adventure through Albion yet again has plenty of people excited.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will take us back to the Zone, and we couldn’t be more excited.

STALKER 2

  • 2023

Initially set for a release in April of 2022, STALKER 2 was then delayed to December of 2022, before another delay was announced. Now, the highly-anticipated title will be coming out sometime in 2023, though exactly when is unknown.

Trailers for the game look promising though, and stalkers of all sorts are chomping at the bit to head back into the Zone, hunt for artifacts, and down some vodka.

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2

  • TBA

Even though Space Marine 2 was officially announced at the Game Awards 2021, one thing we didn’t get was any kind of release date or even a release year.

While we got more info on the game at the 2022 Xbox Games Show, a release date was not included there either. Fans of 40K and the original game will just have to wait to take on the sequel, but the good news is, what we’ve seen so far looks great.

The Outer Worlds 2

  • TBA

All we’ve gotten for this sequel is a cheeky trailer so far, but we do know The Outer Worlds 2 will be an Xbox exclusive when it comes out.

With the outlandish style and tongue-in-cheek humor sure to return, The Outer Worlds 2 should build on the first game’s winning formula, and then some.

Redfall

  • 2023

Redfall was originally set for a release date in September of 2022, but it’s now been delayed until 2023. Arkane Studios team-based vampire battling shooter looks promising, but players will have to wait a little longer before hopping in.

Forza Motorsport 8 will give players more options for cars than ever before.

Forza Motorsport

  • Spring 2023

The next Forza Motorsport game has some big shoes to fill, following Horizon 5’s excellent reception. Given the quality we’ve come to expect from the series so far though, that shouldn’t be a major issue.

Branded as a reboot of sorts, the game is not titled ‘Forza Motorsport 8’ as many thought it would be. While no exact release date has been officially announced, we have been given a window of Spring 2023 for it to release.

Avowed promises an extremely unique take on the first-person genre.

Avowed

  • 2023-2024

Avowed is one game we don’t know a ton about at the time of writing, other than it’s sword-swinging, magic-wielding gameplay looks like a ton of fun.

Set in the same universe as Pillars of Eternity, we could have a bit to wait before we can go hands-on with this one, with an expected release date anywhere from 2023 to 2024.

There you have it – everything there is to know about all of the current and upcoming Xbox exclusives.
