V Rising is an intense RPG that puts players in a vampire’s shoes and tasks them with surviving in a hostile world while building up an epic gothic empire to rule over various lands. Throughout V Rising’s gameplay loop, you’ll need to defeat enemies, gather resources, and build structures to survive.
Early access has now ended and the 1.0 version of V Rising has finally arrived on PC but will the ARPG be coming to consoles anytime soon?

Yes, V Rising will be coming to PlayStation 5 on June 11, 2024.
Release date news was confirmed in a trailer shared on PlayStation’s official YouTube channel on May 20, 2024. There are 3 editions of the game you can now pre-order on PS5, these are:
- V Rising standard edition – $39.99 / £32.99
- V Rising base game.
- Legacy of Castlevania Edition – $59.99 / £49.99
- Includes the Legacy of Castlevania Premium Pack, and 5 days early access.
- Complete edition – $99.99 / £79.99
- Comes with everything in the standard, Castlevania editions, the Sinister Evolution Pack, Dracula’s Relic Pack, and Eldest Bloodline Pack.
Unfortunately for PS4 players, it doesn’t look like the game will be coming to the last-gen console.
Is V Rising coming to Xbox consoles or Nintendo Switch?
At the time of writing, there’s been no confirmation about whether or not V Rising will be making its way to Xbox consoles or Nintendo Switch. The only confirmed console release for the game is on PS5.
If any information about other console versions of V Rising is made available, we’ll be sure to update this page. While Xbox Series S/X would be able to run the game, it’s tricky to know whether or not the Switch would be able to handle the system requirements, so that’s something to bear in mind if you own the handheld device.
