Ancient Civilization Parts are an important crafting resource in Palworld, so here’s everything you need to know about how to get your hands on these items in the new monster-taming title.

Palworld is a huge game that delivers players a unique blend of creature collecting and survival gameplay. As well as catching Pals, and battling bosses, you’ll also be base building and gathering as many resources as you can to survive in the hostile world.

Ancient Civilization Parts, also known as Paldium Crystals in the Game Pass and PC version of Palworld, are a valuable crafting resource that can be used in the later stages of the game to get powerful items like the Egg Incubator, and the Giga Shield.

So, here’s everything you need to know about Ancient Civilization Parts in Palworld.

How to get Ancient Civilization Parts in Palworld

The two ways to earn Ancient Civilization Parts in Palworld are to knock-out and loot Alpha Pals or to defeat Dungeon Bosses.

Alpha Pals across the map can be relatively easy to find, and their general location is marked on the map after they have been spotted for the first time.

If you’re unsure whether you have come across the right animal out in the wild, there are a couple of easy ways to tell them apart. The first is that Alpha Pals are orders of magnitude larger than the normal version of themselves. Additionally, their name should appear in red above the character model and are usually accompanied by a large, red health bar above the Pal.

The lowest-level Alpha Pal to start with is Chillet, who should be relatively easy to defeat at Level 10 or above with a Pal of the same level, ideally with a Fire-type as a hard counter. Starting there should give enough parts to tide the character over until it’s possible to take on more Alpha pals.

Pals of this type do respawn but their time is far longer than that of normal Pals. The same goes for the Alpha Pals in dungeons, whose respawn is controlled by the overall farm timer for the dungeon itself, so if you’re planning to take on dungeon bosses to farm be mindful of how long the dungeon will last in the game before you start exploring!
