Simple food only does the job for so long and sooner or later you’ll want to make something more filling. Wheat is central to a lot of the game’s more complex recipes so here’s how to get and farm Wheat and Wheat Seeds in Palworld.

Palworld is the industry’s latest success story that has you team up with Pals to create advanced Bases and eventually even large-scale production lines.

However, working on these Bases is a tough task even for the most dedicated Pals. Sooner or later they’ll get hungry and need food. You might even find yourself getting hungry and berries only do so much to satisfy the hunger of a noble adventurer.

For the best food you’ll need Wheat and here’s how you can get some.

Where to find Wheat Seeds in Palworld

The easiest way to obtain Wheat Seeds in Palworld is to buy them from merchants. Wheat Seeds are sold by most merchants for 100 coins and can be purchased infinitely as long as you have the funds.

Alternatively, defeating or catching Bristla, Cinnamoth, Dinossom, Flopie, or Robinquill also grants a chance of receiving Wheat Seeds. Of these Pals, Dinossom is the easiest to farm and can be encountered in a few areas including the Plateau of Beginnings and Eastern Wild Island.

How to grow Wheat in Palworld

To grow Wheat in Palworld you need to build a Wheat Plantation which requires x3 Wheat Seeds, x35 Wood, and x35 Stone. The ability to make one can be unlocked on the Technology Tree at level 15.

Penking water and growing wheat in palworld
Growing Wheat requires multiple Pals with different skills, such as Penking’s level 2 Watering.

After placing one down you need to assign multiple Pals on your Base that combined have at least level 1 Planting, Watering, and Gathering. It’s also recommended to place either storage or a Feed Box where Transporting Pals will automatically place grown Wheat.

Some of the best Pals to help harvest Wheat include Lyleen and Beegarde for Planting and Gathering, and Jormuntide, Azurobe, or Pengullet for Watering.
