Not only does Palworld have massive viewership numbers on Twitch, but “Pokemon with guns” continues to impress players by hitting over 500k concurrent users just a few hours after release.

Palworld — or as people commonly refer to as “Pokemon with guns” — has been stealing the spotlight as of late, garnering a whopping 723k total hours of watch time on Twitch in its first day alone.

In fact, at the time of writing, it is now sitting in the first spot of most trending games, according to Twitch tracker site Sullygnome. And if that’s not impressive enough, devs have shared that the game sold over a million copies in just eight hours after its launch.

The game combines monster-collecting, survival, crafting, and exploration with some twists, like being able to sell humans and assign Pals into labor. This premise has caught the interest of many players as the game has become Steam’s best-selling with over 500k concurrent users.

According to SteamDB, the game has hit a remarkable amount of 557,143 concurrent players, making it the second most-played game right now just after Counter-Strike 2.

SteamDB also shows that Palworld has surpassed Dota 2, PUBG, Apex Legends, and Baldur’s Gate 3 in terms of concurrent players, despite these titles usually seen dominating the platform.

It’s clear that aside of all the ‘ripped off’ creature design drama, Palworld has received an overall positive feedback, even getting praised by popular streamer Asmongold.

If you’re looking into jumping into Palworld yourself or with friends, it would be best to first find out if your system can run it and which starter Pals are recommended.
