Fortnite Welcome to Pandora challenges: How to get free Borderlands rewards and cosmetics

Amazing free rewards are in the offering for Fortnite Battle Royale players as the ‘Welcome to Pandora; challenges are now live in-game. If you would like to complete them as fast as possible, you have came to the right place. 

The Fortnite X Mayhem event is running from the release of patch v10.20 on August 27 until September 10, with players being given the opportunity to pick up a selection of cool new features along the way. 

While the brand new Psycho bundle is set to hit the Fortnite Item Shop and will have to be purchased with V-Bucks, some of the new cosmetics are up for grabs totally free of charge!

Epic GamesNew free rewards were revealed with the Fortnite X Mayhem event.

These new rewards include Borderlands inspired weapon wraps, spray paints and more, bringing elements of the Gearbox Software series right to the game’s battle royale mode. 

While not yet confirmed, where there are rewards in Fortnite, usually challenges aren’t too far behind and that looks to be no different for the Fortnite X Mayhem event.

In order to get your hands on the rewards, grinding your way through the following different missions are going to be the key here. The full confirmed list can be found below. 

Fortnite X Mayhem challenges 

  • Collect Cash from 10 Chests and opponents in Pandora
  • Eliminate 3 opponents in Pandora
  • Search 7 Chests in Pandora 
  • Find Claptrap’s missing eye and then return it to him twice
  • Gain 500 shields in Pandora 
  • Search 3 different Vault Symbols

Completing each of these challenges will unlock different rewards, which include the featured ones noted earlier, as well as extra XP. Good luck and hopefully you’ll complete all of the tasks quickly!
