LIRIK left speechless after crossing paths with crazed DayZ player

One of the most popular streamers on Twitch, Saqib ‘LIRIK‘ Zahid has been jumping back into the world of DayZ lately, and this particular incident with a rabid player might take the cake for the most amusing encounter in recent memory.

It’s never a challenge finding weird and wacky players in the survival game genre, especially in Bohemia Interactive’s DayZ where players can form alliances to survive the dystopian locale.

Twitch star LIRIK is no stranger to amusing situations in DayZ, from surprisingly escaping a hostage scenario, to embarrassingly wiping himself out, the streamer has seen and done a great deal in the survival game, yet this insane encounter still caught him off-guard.

In an October 16 broadcast, LIRIK happened upon a crazed player threatening to jump from the roof of a tall building for no apparent reason other than shock value.

“We can work this sh*t out, we can work this out man,” the streamer pleaded, buying into the antics and trying to prevent an unnecessary death in the often unforgiving survival game.

LIRIK is one of the biggest streamers on Twitch with over two million followers.

Randomly shooting down a stranger and scurrying away, the insane gamer, clearly amping things up a notch, broke out into a deranged laughter that just couldn’t be ignored.

“Woo baby!” he then screamed, before taking out another player with a single shot and subsequently launching himself off of the roof.

Momentarily downed from the plummet but somehow still in one piece, the fleeing lunatic was soon picked off with one clean shot from LIRIK who continued to just stare at the now lifeless body, trying to digest what he’d just witnessed.

From the rapid eliminations to the baffling laughter, there was nothing ordinary about this amusing scenario. The streamer only had to fire a single shot to end the antics for good.

Who knows where this crazed gamer will show up next, it could be in another DayZ stream down the line or it could be a different hardcore survival game entirely.

If you hear maniacal laughter in the distance, just be sure to watch out for a wild temperament that could see you eliminated at the drop of a hat.

Daequan’s first tweet after 6-month hiatus sparks hope for Twitch return

Daequan ‘Daequan’ Loco has broken his six-month social media silence in time for Thanksgiving. While the tweet was short and sweet, it has given fans of the former TSM Fortnite star hope for a potential return to Twitch.

Daequan has practically disappeared from the public eye in 2020. He vowed that he’d try to return to Twitch by January 2020 after taking time off to focus on his health, but hasn’t made an appearance on the platform since December 2019.

On top of that, he’s gone quiet on socials, not posting anything since March. While he has moved in with long-time friend and former duo Hamlinz in the meantime, there wasn’t any indication he was coming back to streaming.

However, Daequan has finally broken his silence to give thanks to his fans on Thanksgiving, and tell everyone that he is getting along just fine.

“Feeling better than I have in years. Always thankful,” the short message red, with a selfie of the streamer.

The tweet has gone viral, with over 100,000 fans liking the tweet, and many of his contemporaries sending him messages of support, including TimtheTatman, NICKMERCS, and Classify.

Daequan’s eight-word return has also managed to spark hope in his fanbase of a potential return to streaming. No matter whether it’s Fortnite, or a new game that’s come out in his absence like Valorant, Daequan’s fans are itching to see him back on the platform.

There is potential for a return. Hamlinz has been a bit more active on social media, and Tfue even tried to get him to turn on the stream — even if just for a day.

No matter what though, Daequan is taking things at his own pace. He’s still on that journey to better health, and will return in his own time when he believes it’s right.

Fans of Daequan will be hoping it’s not another six months until we hear from the TSM Fortnite star again, but only time will tell if he actually commits to returning to streaming.
