Ellie Zeiler, who has 1.9 million followers on TikTok, has been attacked by the fans of platform star Charli D’Amelio for allegedly copying her content, and hiding behind a fake account to deceive fans of the TikTokker.

Charli D’Amelio is the face of TikTok. With over 50 million followers on the platform, she has taken the internet by storm with her variety posts.

With that comes a very loyal fanbase, and people trying to capitalize on her success. However, Ellie Zeiler has been caught in the crossfire, after fans of D’Amelio accused the budding TikTok star of stealing content and intentionally deceiving other users because of their similarity.

A video went viral on Tiktok on April 21, calling out an alleged account of Zeiler on Twitter for using Charli’s name to promote her own content.

The account, which was under the name ‘charidamelio’, dropping the L from the D’Amelio’s first name, reportedly had images of Zeiler up on their profile. The video also highlighted this account was liking content from ‘EllieZeilerr’, reportedly Zeiler’s Twitter profile.

However, Zeiler has come out in defense of herself, saying that neither profile is operated by her.

“My account is @elliezeiler1 not @elliezeilerr,” she said on Instagram. “Ask them for a face reveal please because it’s all fake. I’m sorry for having to comment like this but it has gone too far.”

Zeiler has 64,000 followers on Instagram, and only recently started up a Twitter account. The fake account on Twitter posted an apology in the star’s name, although the profile has since been deactivated.

“That photo everyone was commenting on was posted a couple of days ago on my second account,” the fake Zeiler profile said on Twitter.

The user behind the ‘charidamelio’ also clarified that she is neither D’Amelio or Zieler, and was instead a fan account trying to have a bit of fun with the two lookalikes.

“This account has never been run by Ellie Zeiler,” they said. “Please don’t give her sh*t for something she has nothing to do with. It’s not Charli either.”

Charli D’Amelio herself is yet to comment on the controversy, although given how it’s taken over TikTok fandom over the last 24 hours, she’s likely aware of it.

Logan Paul wants to fight NHL pro Evander Kane after challenging Jake

YouTube sensation Logan Paul responded to a boxing challenge NHL pro Evander Kane issued to his brother, Jake, during the Impaulsive podcast.

Right after Jake scored a stunning knockout on former basketball player Nate Robinson, the San Jose Sharks left-winger sent a challenge Paul’s way, claiming he’s easy, get ‘wrecked.’

Now, one of the Paul brothers has seemingly accepted the challenge, but it wasn’t the one who Kane was expecting.

“San Jose Sharks? What is that exactly? Some sort of fish or aquatic animal who lives in San Jose?” Logan joked and read Kane’s original tweet. (Segment begins at 33:28)

“Put him on a list,” he remarked. “Does Jake Paul vs Evander Kane, is that a headline fight? How many buys does that get?”

While Jake’s last fight was on the undercard for Mike Tyson’s boxing return against Roy Jones JR, some could argue that Paul stole the show with his huge knockout that went viral on social media. It’s unclear if Kane would have the same star power as Robinson.

The podcast members agreed that the fight wouldn’t exactly be worthy of a headliner, but Logan Paul had an idea.

“Or does he just do it because he will get another fantastic f**king knockout? Is he even active?” Logan asked, inquiring about if Kane was still playing in the NHL. “Okay, so when is he going to train boxing? We’ll go through it again. I’ll put a quarter-million down this time.”

With Logan Paul down to step into the ring against Kane, all that was needed was a response by the forward, who wasted no time in accepting the invitation.

In a short eight-second video tweet, the Sharks player accepted the challenge quite confidently.

“Logan Paul, I’ll take the mop off your head and wipe the floor with you,” he said and proceeded to tag the YouTuber in the reply.

It’s unclear when or if this fight actually goes down, especially with Kane being active in the NHL, so we’ll have to wait and see what happens. The NHL season is set to begin on January 1 at the earliest, but hopefully, the two can arrange for a fight in the following off-season.
