Here’s how to watch American Fiction, including any streaming service subscriptions you’ll need.

American Fiction is one of the best movies of 2024, largely down to its sharp script and impressive acting from Jeffrey Wright and Sterling K Brown.

The movie was so good, in fact, that it earned five Oscar nominations, including Best Picture, Best Actor (Wright), Best Supporting Actor (Brown), Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Original Score. American Fiction was among the Oscar winners, picking up the screenplay award.

If you’re on the lookout for new movies to stream, this one should be on your list. Here’s how to watch American Fiction.

You can watch American Fiction on Amazon Prime Video as part of a subscription to the platform.

Is American Fiction on streaming?

American Fiction is currently exclusive to Prime Video, but you can rent it on Apple TV Plus, too.

The movie hit Prime Video on March 8, 2024. Aside from this, you’d have to pay a fee to rent the movie as part of a video-on-demand purchase.

Is American Fiction on Netflix?

No, American Fiction isn’t on Netflix and it’s unlikely to be on there anytime soon.

We’ll be sure to keep you posted if and when this changes. But, as the film is exclusive to Amazon, we can’t imagine them handing it over to a rival in the immediate future.
