Jack Black’s most recent TikTok sent fans into a frenzy. His cover of Britney Spears has fans demanding more.

Jack Black has extraordinary range on camera. The man has cameoed in The Mandalorian, voiced an iconic video game villain, and he’s returning as Po in the latest Kung Fu Panda installment.

Of course, music is probably his first love, and fans of Tenacious D know he’s no slouch. Jack Black can belt it out with the best of them.

A recent upload to his TikTok account is sure to prove any doubters wrong. An iconic cover of a Britney Spears classic has stunned his fans and now, they want a whole new project.

In the TikTok, Black brings his usual energy to a cover of Britney Spears’ ‘…Baby One More Time’. Backed up by Tenacious D bandmate and lifelong friend Kyle Gass, the two absolutely nail the cover.

TikTok users seem to think so too because they’re showering the video with praise. “This is better than the original,” one fan of Black’s cover said. “The man doesn’t miss,” replied another.

The performance is so engrossing that fans say they need more. They want an entire musical project dedicated to Black tackling similar hits.

“I would love an album that’s just jack black covering early 2000 white girl music,” said one user with hundreds of replies agreeing. Don’t let the fact that this particular tune came out in 1998 stop you from asking.

Jack Black is no stranger to a high-budget music video and this deserves one.

We don’t know if Jack Black’s schedule will allow for a cover album of early 2000s pop hits but we wouldn’t turn one down.

If you’re too eager to wait for more from the man, you can get your fix when Kung Fu Panda hits theatres on March 28, 2024.
