Pokemon Scarlet & Violet trainers want to see missing Legendary monsters represented in “Mewtwo-style” Tera Raid events.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet’s overarching story content is officially over now that the Epilogue has released.

However, that doesn’t mean all downloadable content has come to a halt as Game Freak seemingly has plenty of special Mass Outbreaks and Tera Raid events planned in 2024.

With more Tera Raids on the horizon, some fans want to see Legendary Pokemon return in Tera Raids similar to 7-star Mewtwo’s event in 2023.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet fans want Legendary Tera Raids

A post on the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet subreddit put forward a theory that trainers may see a future Tera Raid event centering around Gen 8’s Calyrex.

The OP said, “So… post Snacksworth in Pokémon Scarlet/Violet, we get both Glastrier and Spectrier – one Pokémon noticeably missing is Calyrex. Anyone else think that a future raid this year will inevitably be a Mewtwo-style Calyrex raid to allow folks to use the reigns of unity?”

The OP is referencing the Indigo Disk NPC named Snacksworth, who will give players an item to locate various Legendary Pokemon around Paldea.

While the Indigo Disk allowed players to naturally catch plenty of powerful Legendaries, there are still plenty that can only be brought over to Gen 9 from Pokemon Home.

Many fans in the comments agreed with the OP’s sentiments. “It’s entirely possible. I think it would be neat to see another event like Mewtwo,” said one trainer.

Other players shared Legendaries they’d like to see featured in Tera Raids, like one fan who said, “I’d like a Zeraora or Magearna or something less common.”

However, some fans argued that Gen 8 Legendaries like Calyrex, Regieleki, and Regidrago didn’t make it to Gen 9 because Game Freak wanted players to have an incentive to play through Sword & Shield.

Of course, only time will tell if these missing Legendaries actually show up as Tera Raids. Until then, they can still be transferred over from Pokemon Home.
