Pokemon Scarlet & Violet are getting a new Tera Raid event—this time centered around version-exclusive monsters like Ceruledge and Armarouge.

While Pokemon’s paid DLC has come to an end with the Indigo Disk, Gen 9 is still getting updates to add new content for those still traveling around Paldea.

In keeping with the trend of adding new Tera Raid content, Pokemon has announced a brand new Tera Raid event coming soon to Scarlet & Violet.

This new Tera Raid event will feature four different version-exclusive Pokemon that will be available to take on regardless of what version players own.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet to get new Tera Raid event

According to the official Pokemon website, Pokemon Scarlet & Violet fans can expect this new Tera Raid event to begin on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at 4 PM PST. The event will last until Sunday, February 18, 2024, at 3:59 PM PST.

During the event, the version-exclusive Pokemon Stonjourner, Eiscue, Armarouge, and Ceruledge will appear as 3-5-star Tera Raids in both Scarlet & Violet versions.

Additionally, these Pokemon will have random Tera Types which means trainers will have to stay on their toes and switch up their chosen partner Pokemon when tackling them.

Players who want to participate in the event simply need to make sure their copy of the game is updated with the latest version of Poke Portal News before the event begins.

To do so follow these steps:

  1. Selecting Poké Portal from the X menu, then Mystery Gift.
  2. Next, select Check Poké Portal News.
  3. After updating, new Tera Raid crystals featuring the version-exclusive Pokemon will appear!

This version-exclusive-centric Tera Raid event will take place following the Luvdisc Tera Raid event, which will take place around Valentine’s Day.

While 3-5-star Tera Raids won’t pose too much of a challenge to veteran players, this event will be an excellent opportunity to snag some normally version-exclusive Pokemon and earn some easy rewards for clearing Tera Raid battles.
