Sons of the Forest has two companions you can recruit in the game:

Kelvin

Kelvin is a soldier who survives the helicopter crash at the beginning of the game but loses his hearing in the process. Kelvin can be found near the crash site of the helicopter. Players need to approach him and interact with the “E” button to help him up. After this, Kelvin will become a loyal ally who can be given orders and directed to perform tasks.

Virginia

Virginia appears as a six-limbed mutant in the forest. To recruit her, players must stow all weapons and refrain from aggressive actions. Over time, Virginia grows accustomed to the player’s presence and begins to follow them.
