The Fortnite solo record has been broken on PC
After standing since June, the record for most kills in a solo match of Fortnite Battle Royale has finally been broken.
It seems that Fortnite world records are being broken on a near daily basis and October 29 has been no different as a pair of records have fallen today alone.
Just hours after the duo vs squad record was set, ‘diddytheboy’ has just broken the solo record on PC by securing a 32-kill Victory Royale.
While we’ve seen plenty of records broken over the last week, we don’t see the solo records beaten too often, since it’s much harder to slay out when you’re playing all alone.
It seems like that didn’t matter at all to diddytheboy, though, as he wreaked havoc on a solo lobby, leaving a trail of bodies in his wake all game long.
Throughout the course of this 17-minute game, diddytheboy manages to take down his enemies without even breaking a sweat, barely getting damage the entire game on his way to a whopping 32 kills.
Perhaps the most impressive part of his whole run is that he did it while playing in a $1000 contest online, adding to the pressure of the already high-pressure situation of knowing you’re putting on a world-record performance.
The contest was held on GamerzArena and tasked players with securing as many kills in one game and this performance gave him the win, netting him $300 in addition to bragging rights as the world record holder.
Given that this record had been untouched since June when Baldy put up 30 kills, diddytheboy’s performance is just that much more impressive.
