After an extended hiatus, Keemstar’s Friday Fortnite tournament will be returning on October 4, with some top Fortnite players like Nick ‘Nick Eh 30’ Amyoony and Aydan ‘Aydan’ Conrad taking part.

Just like Minecraft Monday, Friday Fortnite has taken the worlds of YouTube and Twitch by storm as some of the most popular content creators teamed up with professionals for a chance to win cash.

However, back on August 16, it was revealed that the event would be taking a break until the end of September because of Epic Games’ competitive play schedule. While September came and went without any tournaments, Daniel ‘Keemstar’ Keem has confirmed that Friday Fortnite is back on October 4, so, here’s everything you need to know.

UMGFriday Fortnite will be making it’s long-awaited return on October 4.

When does Friday Fortnite begin?

This return of the popular Fortnite tournament is set to take place on October 4, 2019, and is scheduled to kick off at 4 PM ET/1 PM PT and 9 PM BST.

As ever, UMG’s Twitch channel will be the central hub for all the action, and so you don’t have to miss a moment of the tournament by changing broadcasts between games, we’ve added the main stream below for your convenience.

Who is playing in Friday Fortnite?

While plenty of the previous Friday Fortnite events have included huge content creators from YouTube and streamers from Twitch, this time around, things are a little different.

There is no Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins, Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney or even Nate ‘NateHill’ Hill, instead, fans can look forward to seeing Nick Eh 30, Ghost Gaming’s Aydan, FaZe Clan’s Replays, and Fortnite World Cup duos winner Aqua in action.

Friday Fortnite bracket – October 4

The official bracket to be used in the return of Friday Fortnite can be found below from UMG. As usual, it will be automatically updated throughout the day, so you can always find the latest results and follow-up matches here.

As it stands, only 16 teams have been registered for action but in the past, we’ve seen 32 teams compete for glory. This means that the below bracket is likely to be updated, as more players will be added into the open spots.

How much money do Friday Fortnite winners get?

As usual, there will be $10,000 up for grabs, with the biggest split going to the eventual winners of the event.

If this returning tournament follows the payout splits of previous events, the champions will bag $6,000, the runners-up will take $3,000 home, and the third-placed team will split $1,000.

Where to find Fortnite Iron Man jetpacks

After many long months, the fan-favorite jetpack has finally been re-added to Fortnite. This time however it’s straight from Iron Man, due to the special Marvel-themed season. Here’s a simple guide for how you can get your hands on the item.

One of the more interesting and least-hated items added to Fortnite since its launch is the jetpack. After being available in normal modes for a while, the item quickly became a fan-favorite, and getting one was pretty much required if you wanted to stand a chance in the final couple circles.

Epic Games decided to remove the item back in 2018 and instead, limited it to a number of different LTMs. Now, it seems like the developer has at least temporarily reversed course, as the item is now spawning in the base game again with a Marvel-themed twist.

The new jetpack operates exactly the same as the old item that was removed from Fortnite a while ago.

What is the Iron Man jetpack?

From everything we’ve seen, it appears as if the Iron Man jetpack operates basically the same way the older jetpack did back in 2018, and that this new item is basically just a simple cosmetic re-skin.

The jetpack takes the slot of one of your items on the bottom right-hand side of the screen. If you want to use it though, you don’t have to have the item selected. All you need to do is jump and then hold down the jump button in order to raise yourself into the air, allowing you to use your weapons. Operation, as expected, is fairly simple.

The Iron Man jetpack can be found through the map as floor loot.

Where can I find the Iron Man jetpack?

Apparently, the only place to find the Iron Man jetpack is as floor loot appearing randomly around the map for the moment. There doesn’t appear to be any specific, sure-fire, place to find it, so you’ll just have to keep looking until it pops up.

The item also doesn’t seem to show up from chests, which means it’s even harder to find than some weapons and other items. Of course, this could all change as time goes on.

It’s currently unknown how long the item will be in the game for, although logic would dictate that the longest it would be available would be the end of the current season given its Marvel theme.
