Streaming superstar Dr Disrespect is continuing his annual tradition of hosting a massive ‘Doctober’ costume contest for Halloween and giving out a ton of prizes Here’s everything you need to know – including what you have to do to enter and what you could win.

Last year, Dr Disrespect began his “Doctober” Halloween tradition, which tasked fans with coming up with interesting costumes based on the popular Twitch streamer in order to win some cool prizes like headsets, vests, and more. Ultimately, a fan named ‘FiveTimeDad’ won the competition with his costume.

Fast forward a year and the Two-Time is doing another Doctober challenge, and this time around, there’s a ton of prizes that he’s giving away to three lucky fans.

How to enter the Doctober Halloween costume contest

Entering the contest is simple:

  1. Dress up in the best Dr Disrespect costume you can think of – try to replicate the Two-Time as much as possible but with your own unique twist
  2. Take a photo of yourself in the costume
  3. Tweet the photo with the hashtag #Doctober

Coincidence or not, Doc has taken advantage of the timing of this contest by putting out his first-ever costume replica for sale, giving fans the chance to purchase a package that includes the iconic sunglasses, vest, fake mustache, and wig.

That said, entrants are not required to purchase the items so feel free to get as creative as you’d like with whatever you have to work with!

How long will the contest last? – dates & schedule

This year’s Doctober doesn’t have exact dates, per se, with the competition extending through the entire month of November. While the Two-Time is yet to confirm the exact deadline and when he’ll be picking the winners, if we go by last year’s schedule, the final day for submissions will likely be Halloween, on October 31.

In 2019, the streamer picked the winner on November 1, the day after Halloween, which is a reasonable date to expect this year’s champions to be announced. If more details about the schedule are announced, we’ll be sure to add them here.

Prizes

According to the official contest poster, there’s going to be three winners of the contest – first, second, and third place – each one receiving a nice package of gifts from the Doc.

The joys of spooky season might be limited by a global health crisis, but it doesn’t stop TikTok from creating some incredible and utterly terrifying looks this Halloween.

From disturbingly realistic horror movie icons to genuinely bone-chilling transitions, we’re in awe of the efforts it took to create these amazing costumes. Here are the best looks from this year so far.

Don’t get bitten!

This extremely dedicated father had such a realistic “Walking Dead” style zombie costume that his kids were clearly terrified. The costume came with its own sound effects, and TikTok is invested. The reveal of this amazing costume has had 9 million views.

Jump-scare with a twist

Abby Roberts is well known on TikTok for impeccable makeup skills, and her Halloween looks have been off the charts – especially with her collaborations with Yungblud and Liam Payne. Not only is this zombie Nun look the stuff of nightmares, the transition is pretty slick, too.

Seen any red balloons?

This amazingly realistic version of Pennywise from Stephen King’s ‘IT’ is truly capturing people’s attention, garnering 10 million views on this video already. The teeth in this look alone are on another level.

Spooky skeletons

This person has an amazing full costume of Jack Skellington from Tim Burton’s ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas,’ and for some reason, this video of him dancing is kind of addictive to watch – so much so that it has had 22.7 million views.

Criminal pups

Pets are getting involved, too, and these three cute pups are breaking out of doggy jail in the spirit of Halloween, complete with stripy uniforms that say “I steal kisses” and a number plate that says “cr1me.”
