Censor names the four CoD pros he’d win “many” championships with

Former Call of Duty pro player Doug ‘Censor‘ Martin has named his dream team when it comes to competitive CoD, claiming he could win “many” championships if they all teamed together.

Censor’s career in Call of Duty esports has been an up-and-down affair, to say the least. He found some success early on, but the last few years have been difficult, as he hasn’t really come close to winning a tournament over that span.

Discussing the topic with OpTic Gaming CEO Hector ‘H3CZ‘ Rodriguez, the YouTuber was posed with the question of which four players he would love to team with, with the goal being to win championships.

“I would take SlasheR number one,” he said. “Gunless if he liked me. He doesn’t like me in-game, but it terms of talent, Gunless. I would take Apathy, and I would take Karma.”

“And you think you got the chops right there?” H3CZ asked.

“Many, many championships,” Censor answered.

To avoid potentially disrespecting anyone, Censor did not say who he’d have as their sixth man off the bench, although did bring up the fact that current Splyce star Huke was his sub on FaZe Clan.

“When I was captain of FaZe, and we won, I picked up Huke and he was my sub, because I knew he was so good,” he explained. “I have a knack for finding talent. And look at him now, he hasn’t won anything, which is surprising, but he’s one of the most talented players.”

Censor also had different reasons for why he would pick these players for his dream team. When it comes to Apathy and SlasheR, he has significant experience teaming with both superstars, including at the MLG Columbus Open in 2014, where their FaZe Clan team finished in first place.

As for Gunless and Karma, it comes down to pure talent, as both players have chiseled their names into CoD esports lore as being among the most proficient competitors.

MLGCensor previously teamed with both SlasheR and Apathy under the FaZe Clan banner in 2014.

Of course, teaming with these kinds of superstars may not be easy for the former compLexity Gaming pro, who has found it difficult to land with a star-studded roster since his days with FaZe.

With franchising coming to CoD esports for next season, and beyond, he will have to work ahead and beyond everyone else if he is to prove that he belongs within the same ranks as some of these top-level guys.
