Best AUG Warzone loadout class: Attachments, Setup, Perks

AUG

The AUG may not be the most popular SMG in Warzone, but it is capable of dishing out decent damage if you’re willing to give it a chance.

While Modern Warfare’s AUG had a brief stint in the Warzone meta spotlight, it was quickly overshadowed by the likes of the Kilo and Grau. Despite this, the reliable SMG boasts decent accuracy and range, making it an incredibly versatile option. The Modern Warfare version performs very differently to its Cold War cousin.

Instead of being burst fire, this variant allows players to go full-auto and unleash a volley of bullets towards their target. Even though the AUG is classified as an SMG, it performs more like an AR thanks to its methodical fire rate and overall damage range.

If you’re looking for an SMG that you can use to dominate your opponents across Warzone’s Verdansk and Rebirth Island, then this loadout will help you do just that.

Verdansk offers plenty of opportunities for you to pick off targets in mid to long-range engagements. This can obviously be a problem for SMGs like the MAC-10 and MP5, but for the AUG, this isn’t an issue. Our loadout makes the AUG pack a punch in mid-range skirmishes, while also bolstering the gun’s accuracy and damage.

First up is the Monolithic Suppressor and 407mm Extended Barrel. Both these attachments greatly increase the AUG’s damage range, giving you plenty of opportunities to take those all-important mid-range shots. If that wasn’t enough, the added bullet velocity and recoil control make hitting moving targets that much easier.

AUG
The AUG may not be meta, but it’s a fun gun to use.

The AUG’s clean sight also enables frees up a slot for the Tac Laser, which speeds up the gun’s ADS speed and helps with aiming stability. Having the extra speed is fantastic, particularly in close-quarter scenarios where quick reaction times are needed.

Meanwhile, the added aiming stability and recoil control from the Commando Foregrip ensures the AUG remains competitive across all ranges. Combine this with the 5.56 NATO 60-Round Drums and you have an SMG that can mow down many an enemy.
