Summit1g slams PUBG after playing in Dr DisRespect’s tournament, The Doc reacts

Jaryd ‘summit1g’ Lazar said a very permanent goodbye to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds after playing in Boom TV’s inaugural Code Red event.

Hosted by Dr DisRespect, Code Red brought together a number of top streamers and professional PUBG players for a $20,000 duos tournament.

Unfortunately, it looks like summit1g, and his partner for the tournament, JoshOG, did not enjoy the experience of playing the battle royale game in a competitive setting in the slightest!

In fact, summit decided to cut off his stream during his final match before restarting it and explaining the situation to his thousands of viewers.

“There was no reason to put you guys through the rest of that run,” the popular streamer explained as his stream started resumed. “Me and Josh were just running on a hill trying to get into the circle and then some Liquid guys are posted with like 8X’s, you know?”

The 31-year-old then went on to thank Dr DisRespect for inviting him to the tournament before saying that he would never be playing PUBG again:

“It was a fantastic time, I just want to say thank you so much Dr DisRespect for inviting us, it was a good time…sort of. I appreciate the invites, not ever doing a PUBG tournament again. I’m also gonna say goodbye PUBG forever, you fucking suck cock,” he said before deleting the game from Steam!

It looks like playing PUBG in a competitive environment was the final straw for summit, who has made his feelings clear about the game’s shortcomings in the past.

He isn’t the only Twitch star to have voiced similar grievances with the game in recent weeks. Even Dr DisRespect, the host of the Code Red tournament, has made it clear that he is losing patience with the game and cannot wait for the release of Call of Duty: Blackout.

Towards the end of the tournament, Dr DisRespect watched summit’s final goodbye to the game and couldn’t help but chuckle as he saw his fellow streamer’s meltdown!
