Popular streamer Tyler ‘Ninja‘ Blevins has announced that he is officially receiving his own custom Fortnite skin in-game, giving fans a first look at the cosmetic item ahead of its release on January 16.

For many, Ninja is the face of the popular battle royale title, becoming one of the biggest content creators in the world off the back of his Fortnite streams, eventually propelling him right to the top of Twitch and into mainstream media.

For years, fans of the streamer have asked to be able to represent their favorite streamer while playing the game, and finally, Epic Games have rewarded the streamer with his own custom skin, that will be made available to purchase by players around the world for a limited time.

The skin looks almost identical to the streamer, much to his delight, who couldn’t help but celebrate how much it looked like him. It includes his now-iconic blue hair, and even features his logo on the sleeve, with four different skin-styles also included which allow players to celebrate Ninja and his success in Fortnite.

“I’ve dreamt of having a skin in Fortnite since I started playing the game,” the streamer wrote. “Today, my dream becomes reality.”

The skin has been released as part of a special Icon Series, with developers Epic Games stating that “gaming, music, film, and fashion will collide,” as the program brings the “artistic vision, personality, and attitude” of the game’s top creators into Fortnite.

The developer’s also confirmed that Ninja wouldn’t be the only personality to receive this treatment, with Loserfruit, TheGrefg, and more set to appear in the future.

There is currently no confirmed price for the Ninja cosmetics, but the 28-year-old confirmed that they would be available from January 16 through to January 19.
