The loading screens for Fortnite Season 9 weeks 7, 8, 9, and 10 have leaked, and they provide a lot of insight into the story, as well as which weeks could see hidden Battle Stars.

The v9.30 update for Fortnite was released by Epic Games on June 18, and added a plethora of tweaks including the new Chug Splash item, the removal of the Shotgun delay, and more.

Data miners have been combing the update files for new information and struck gold with the finding of upcoming cosmetics and skins, as well as the new Air Strike item. Infamous leaker Lucas7yoshi also stumbled across a new set of in-game loading screens, providing us with fresh insight as to what the story could look like across the next few weeks.

The new loading screens help to tell the story of the season, often dropping hints about what is yet to come. Some include unreleased skins, while others can sometimes hide Battle Stars or other items in them, hinting at hidden and secret content.

Week 7’s screen shows off the leaked Nitebeam skin, with the character being chased and sniped by enemies. There is a hidden Battle Star in the middle-left section just under the balcony, hinting that Pressure Plant could have a secret Star that week.

This is just speculation, of course – we’ll be updating you with the location of any secret obtainable when more details come to light.

The Week 8 loading screen is more lighthearted, with the classic Jonesy character playing an arcade cabinet with another character in the Peely banana skin. They both appear to be having the time of their lives.

We can’t find any secrets in Week 8’s loading screen, so there might not be one that week. But who knows? Maybe Epic will surprise us.

Epic GamesThe Peely skin is oddly cute.

Week 9’s loading screen shows off the leaked Beach Bomber skin in her full glory. She’s also equipped with the data mined Brite Board item too, as she prepares to drop in to a skateboard ramp.

If you look closely at the graffiti on the side of the ramp, you’ll notice a Battle Star above the car – a hint at a hidden Star for that week, possibly at the Mega Mall location.

Epic GamesWeek 9’s loading screen hints at a hidden Battle Star.

The leaked loading screen for Week 10 shows the Breakpoint character looking menacing as he vaults through a technical landscape, holding two guns. Fans believe that this could be a massive implication of the Dual Pistols being un-vaulted.

This wouldn’t be the first time they’ve been taken out of the game and then put back again, so we’ll see – it wouldn’t be surprising.

Epic GamesAre the Dual Pistols coming back?

As always, take all leaks with a pinch of salt. Obviously it’s very hard to fake images like these, but until Epic Games announce the loading screens officially, there’s always room for error.

How to find Fortnite Season 3’s Fortilla key and open the Vault

Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 3 flooded the entire map after Midas activated the Device—but now players get their turns to flood something of their own: their inventories with loot stolen from the Fortilla Vault.

Chapter 2, Season 3 changed Fortnite’s map drastically, in one of the biggest revamps ever for the game, namely by washing away most of the game’s northwestern points of interest and sliding in the Fortilla, a brand new set of islands in the southwestern quadrant.

Aside from wanting an excuse to travel to a new destination, players can now be additionally motivated to explore the Fortilla because they can defeat a boss, obtain a keycard, and then reap the benefits of boundless, formerly vaulted loot.

Fortnite’s Season 3 map, a flooded masterpiece with some intriguing additions.

South of Holly Hedges and west of Rickety Rig, you’ll find the Fortilla: a set of small islands surrounded by about five larger islands—all covered with structures resembling a tropical shanty town.

How to open Fortilla Vault

  1. Drop at the Fortilla in Fortnite Season 3
  2. Scour the area for Ocean
  3. Eliminate Ocean
  4. Pick up Ocean’s Fortilla Keycard (and other loot)
  5. Follow the Keycard’s directions to find and unlock the vault!

As mentioned by YouTube’s ‘Gamerz World,’ the best way to find Ocean is to glide around on one of the map’s boats and listen for her because she’s a talker.

Once you defeat Ocean, you’ll get three great pieces of loot: Ocean’s Burst Assault Rifle, Ocean’s Bottomless Chug Jug, and the ever-important Fortilla Keycard.

The Chug Jug is a nasty item, as it gives you full health and shields (and offers free refills). The gun is also mighty strong, but not nearly as exciting as the keycard, which will grant you directions and access to the Vault.

The Fortilla is an expansive set of islands, covered in henchmen and beach decor.

When you have the Fortilla Keycard selected from your inventory, the game will show you arrows towards the Vault. Follow those directions, make it to the Vault, and, voila, loot as far as the eye can see.

The new Fortilla Vault is the latest in the game since Catty Corner’s Vault was discovered. While you got some sick loot from that one, nothing is quite as quenching as Ocean’s bottomless Chug Jug.
